Two who won't:
-Chuck and Blair.
-Dan and Serena.
Three who will:
-Jenny OR Lola OR Juilet and Nate.
-Rufus and Lily (I mean, look at all the drama they faced, I'd be shocked if it happened).
-Georgina and Ivy.
Though I was extremely happy for Sheldon to get a storyline and an episode to himself, the fact that his cancer has been confirmed and that he could possibly die is not something I'm happy about. Sheldon finally got to be centre stage after all this time and what does Shonda have to show for it? A death certificate. I won't be impressed if he gets killed off by seasons end.
Sucks that Meredith is getting the blame from Lizzie over this. That's not just who Meredith is - she grew up as an only child and isn't used to having a family. Besides, I blame the writers for not introducing Derek's family earlier. It's all fans have been complaining about since the mention of 4 sisters, 9 nieces and 5 (6 if you include Amelia's anencephalic baby) nephews back in season one.
Say what you will about Dan, but in my own opinion, he comes out of this entire ordeal as the good guy.
Why? Well, Nate tried playing both sides and got arrested, Blair came up with a team of the UES’ finest “bitches” and Bart caught on, and Chuck…well, he’s tried so hard for so long, yet couldn’t gain the upper hand. Yet Dan’s plan, whatever it fully was, worked and that plan of his was what ultimately led to Bart’s downfall (both figuratively and literally.)
I will probably get a bunch of hate for saying this, but to me, Dan is the only good character left on GG. I really hoped Milo really was his, just so Georgina and he could live off and be happily ever after. They're really the only characters that actually deserve it at this point.
... she doesn't need this drama in her life when she already has so much going on.
Dixon and Megan are meh to me. I haven't seen enough of her and though the chemistry is there, a future between the two is uncertain.
As for what Any Lynn said, I'm waiting for Ade and Navid to get back together. He's done with Silver, she's done with Dixon and by the way the writers have been putting since last seasons final few episodes and this years, these two are due to run back together sometime soon. I would somewhat approve of this if the writers do it right.
The fact that Max has just left Naomi for some "time apart" was expected and a low blow by the writers. I get why they're doing it, but these two are a great pairing and to cause troubles already so quick into their marriage was just sad. They've been married for at least 6 months now, but ever since it's just been drama, drama, drama.
I actually have no idea what to say about the Silver/Teddy/Shane thing. I'm on Silver's side though. Teddy knew what he had to do and he complied and Silver was happy. Shane stuck his nose in at the wrong time and due to this Silver has to suffer. I hope she goes with a donor, because though it would be a good storyline, she doesn't need this drama in her life.
Dixon and Megan are meh to me. That's all, just meh.
Can I just say that Liam's new house is basically the EXACT SAME replica of Dylan McKays house in the original Beverly Hills, 90210? Did anyone else notice that or was it just me?
As for the episode itself, it was a great mid-season finale. Poor Liam, twice in a row he's had bad luck. Last year being struck with a car and now being tied up in the basement of his club by Ashley - who YES - is by far MUCH crazier than Vanessa. Vanessa was in love, so it's understandable why she went so far as she did, but Ashley doesn't even know Liam, which just makes her an over-the-top obsessed fan. Crazy bitch is crazy.
As for Riley and Annie, I'm inclined to agree. I can see Riley's surgery ending badly and then him and Annie break up and she goes back to Liam after he's doing dealing with the drama of being kidnapped and the cop or Vanessa die in his bar in the returning episode next year.
I expected Sonia to be the mole, but I didn't expect her to be under Amanda's control through the death chip, let alone Amanda having a second mole.
As for Cyrus, he seemed like an interesting character, so I look forward to him being around in future. Was glad that one of the dirty thirty (not including Owen) were captured and saved by Division.
The Sherlock/Watson dynamic just gets better with every episode. The ending scene was nice touch.
I thought the case was going to turn back on Jun in the end once O'Brien was discovered to have done it, but I guess I was wrong and once again Sherlock was right. haha.
I seriously don't know how I am going to live on with Jenna Maroney once this show finishes up this year. She's actually the best character on TV in regards to a comedy like this.
Not sure what's up with Shonda and "centric" episodes this fall (for both GA and PP), but she really did well with this one. Perhaps too much Jo, but I got to know Leah and now I'm against her too. The episode had enough Cristina, Alex, Meredith, Callie and Derek for my liking, so I am happy with the others not being in it so much.
The only interns I am enjoying are Heather and Stephanie. Shane I am still 50/50 with. I still hate Jo and have just begun to hate Leah though. Those are are just the worst. What I dislike even more is the forced connection between Jo and Alex. What? Damaged meets damaged? I'm sorry, but if the more scenes I get with these two just bother me. Alex deserves someone much better than Jo, so I hope he sees it.
On another note; was glad to finally meet Lizzie! Though I was hoping for heaps more, I'm glad I finally got to see her. This should be interesting to see her, Meredith and Derek get along. Especially with Meredith being 8 weeks pregnant. A 5 week time jump was completely unexpected.
Hopefully the flashforward shows Dan and Blair together, Serena and Chuck dead, Lily in prison, Rufus being happy with someone, Ivy living it up happy on the Upper East Side, Nate having nothing whatsoever and Jenny and Eric in business together.
This episode gave me chills down my spine. Though a great episode, I was not impressed with Sister Jude believing a word of Dr. Arden. I thought she had more common sense than that.
As for Lana, how much more can she be traumatized? I'm glad Kit burst in and saved her and they've both got Dr. Threadson tied up and gagged in a storage room. This should be interesting to see how it plays out. My initial thought was that they were going to save Sister Jude, but I guess not and now with the death of that 'Santa Claus', she has to face the repercussions of it.
All and all, a great episode and though I was expecting a bigger and anticipated episode, I'll take what I got seeing as Dylan McDermott is back next week and we'll be seeing Brooke Smith also.
What a great mid-season finale! No Cas, barely any Sam and heaps of Dean and Benny!
The flashbacks of Amelia did drive me nuts and I was happy that it showed Sam leaving her, but when he went back and she saw him, I was so annoyed. I seriously dislike these two and I hope a demon kills her, because if I have to deal with Amelia all season long, I'll probably begin muting my TV when I see her on-screen.
As for Dean, I was so happy he gave Benny the benefit of the doubt. Though his hunting instincts did come out, he choose to believe Benny and go with what he said. Though I am glad Dean is still a hunter, I'm glad it all worked out. Benny is a great addition to the series and though I feel he may eventually get killed off, I'm happy to take what I can for now.
Too much love story drama for me this episode. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with it, but the whole love-quadriangle thing just annoyed me.
I loved the action this episode punched and the continuity of it, but I think there is only so much of Helena The Huntress I can take. Hopefully she stays to a minimal recurring character, because if she's too constant and always teaming up with Oliver, I'll probably go mad.
I'm team Dan! What he was amazing and spoke the truth. Him and the Georgina pairing is amazing and I wish they'd get together and be end game. Dark Dan is the best and it's interesting to watch that character become the polar opposite of who he used to be. Sucks the show didn't do this sooner, because it's really interesting to see such a change.
