  1. Glee Review: Say What You Need To Say

    Here's hoping that Unique isn't the one catfishing Ryder, since Ryder said that it wasn't Unique's ringtone.
  2. Glee Review: Say What You Need To Say

    @Alayic

    There was no 3rd gun shot. It was the sound of that person running finding an open room and shutting the door loudly. It just sounded like a gun shot, given the heighten tension and the running.
  3. Grey's Anatomy Review: Welcome to Grey-Sloan Memorial

    @PJ

    I was thinking Mark Alexander Shepherd.
  4. Glee Review: Dirty Little Secrets

    Honestly? I'm kind of sad that Blaine and Sam aren't ending up together. They seem to understand one another. But oh well. Hopefully Blaine doesn't end up being alone by the time Darren Criss' stint on the show ends, unless Ryan Murphy and co. find a reason for him to go to NY where it seems all the past Glee-ers go post-Lima.
  5. Once Upon a Time Episode Teaser: Storybrooke, Exposed?

    Wouldn't it be just a kicker if Tamara ended up being Tigerlily? Since the assumption that Bae is also Peter Pan, that could work out.
  6. Archer: Renewed for Season 5!

    YES! This show is great. Can't wait for Season 4 to hit Netflix streaming.
  7. Once Upon a Time Photo Gallery: Look Who's Back!

    Yay! Horray for the Sheriff's/The Hunter's return!
  8. Once Upon a Time Post-Mortem: Did Cora Have to Die?

    @San

    I think something else though sparked the hatred that Cora had over Eva. From our perpsective, Cora had won. She married Prince Henry, she was crowned a princess, and her daughter was to be queen.

    Aside from what happened later in adulthood, Cora still managed to get Regina to the throne.

    I think at the end of the day, Cora's transformation is possible because of her heart. You see it in Regina as she battles it within her for Henry. Good begets good.

    It also reminds me of "Angel". If you watch BtVS, then Cora sort of mirrors Angel and Angelus. Once Angel's soul is restored, he is able to see the sins of his past, much like, I believe Cora would have with her restored heart.
  9. Once Upon a Time Review: Love Could Have Been Enough

    @KansasGuest

    But I think it's with Regina and Rumpel you see actual regret. You see a genuine reflection of their evil deeds and attempt at reconciliation. You see it with Regina withdrawing from magic, and Rumpel attempting to be "good" for Belle.

    With Cora, there is no remorse, there is no regret, there is no attempt at redemption, which seeds the greater evil. Without a heart, she is completely amoral.

    With Regina and Rumpel, with their hearts, despite their actions, can still lead to redeeming themselves to the ones they love: Henry and Belle, respectively.
  10. Girls Review: Relapse

    Ugh. The past two episodes have made me feel so anti-Hannah. I mean.. come one, seriously?! What's wrong with you?
  11. Once Upon a Time Post-Mortem: Did Cora Have to Die?

    @JJA

    That's the thing about being "good" and being "evil". You can't do "evil" in the name of "good" and still be "good".

    Cora was unreasonable because she lacked a heart. Had Snow given Regina Cora's heart back, uncursed, and then re-inserted, frankly, the series would've been over.

    The Dark One dies and his evil passes into nothing. Cora and Regina reconcile, which would lead into Cora and Regina's reconciliation with Snow. Then, having her mother's love, Regina would reconcile with Emma, and the dyfuncitonal "Charming" family tree would be whole.
  12. Once Upon a Time Post-Mortem: Did Cora Have to Die?

    @JJA

    In the context of Snow, being the most innocent and pure, yes, that was extremely awful. She cursed the heart and then manipulated Regina into re-inserting into Cora, thereby resulting in Cora's death.

    Snow played on Regina's desperate need for Cora's love to serve as the literal nail on Cora's coffin.

    If it wasn't so awful, Snow would not have regretted it and attempted to stop it.

  14. Once Upon a Time Review: Love Could Have Been Enough

    @San

    I think with the intention of "protecting her family", she paved the way to her own hell. What's that age-old addage? "Sometimes the hardest thing, and the right thing, are the same thing."

    Snow rationalized to herself that it was the best shot, knowing full well it wasn't, otherwise she would not have regretted it and attempted to stop it from happening. Snow knew she committed an act of evil, going against her mother, and was partly responsible for tearing a daughter from her mother, a feeling she knew all too well.

    I don't believe this was Snow's best shot, and she knew it too.
  15. Once Upon a Time Review: Love Could Have Been Enough

    @San

    Crushing the heart, while taking a dark path, isn't as dark as what Snow actually decided. That would have resulted in Cora's death, Rumpel's death, but that would still leave Regina seeing Snow taking a life. But what Snow actually did was to let Regina be the final cog in Cora's ultimate destruction. Playing Regina's heart with love to accomplish a dark task was, perhaps IMO, the darkest path that Snow could have taken, and she did.
  16. Once Upon a Time Review: Love Could Have Been Enough

    @San

    Letting Gold die without returning the heart would've allowed a great evil to pass, but that would mean Cora and Regina remain with their influence, and cause further heartache down the line until, eventually good would prevail.
  17. Once Upon a Time Review: Love Could Have Been Enough

    @San

    But I think that's the whole point of being "good". It's doing something and having faith in the other person that they also do the right thing. Snow's "Charming" option would've been to give Regina Cora's heart untainted.

    As Cora was shown to admit that "love was enough", her pursuit of the Dark One's powers would not have been forefront. This in-turn would've left the Dark One's curse to fade, to never curse anyone again, it would've allowed Cora and Regina's reconciliation to happen, Regina would've accepted love, and the blood fued between the family would've finally died.

    Regina would see that Snow acted altruistically, and the healing of old would could finally begin.
  18. Once Upon a Time Review: Love Could Have Been Enough

    Although I would agree that it would've been awesome had Regina been Rumpel's. That family tree would've been crazy even moreso that it is now. That and, if it were true, the blood running through Regina's veins would've been the same blood in Henry's, albeit thinned down.
  19. Once Upon a Time Review: Love Could Have Been Enough

    @Doe-Rae-Me,

    I don't belive Cora's powers were a result of the amended contract. Cora asked to be taught as part of her condition to relinquish her first-born child, not to be given powers. Just as Rumpel mentored Regina, he too, mentored Cora before in the ways of magic.

    Also, the contract is magically binding. If Regina were truly Rumpel's child, Rumpel would've been entitled to her, regardless if Cora lied or not. Remember when they attempted to bind Rumpel and Cinderella's prince got caught in the crossfire?

    A deal is a deal, especially when magic enforces it.

    Maybe the Enchanted Forest has knock-off versions of gowns that people can buy. Instead of something like Vera Wang, Cora got a Shera Lang or something.
  21. Once Upon a Time Review: Love Could Have Been Enough

    Perhaps maybe Belle needs to kiss the dagger. lol
  22. Once Upon a Time Review: Love Could Have Been Enough

    @KansasGuest

    Huh. You know, I actually don't recall LOL. I'll have to go back in season 2 via Hulu+.

    Though, I wonder if you are correct, considering The Curse of the Dark One is the only curse so far that is tied to a medium, i.e. the Dagger. All the other curses were inflicted, as opposed to this one where the only release is death, as the curse is either transferred or vanishes.
  23. Grey's Anatomy Review: Heart Of The Hospital

    Jackson is, more or less, in charge as he is the representative of Harper Avery Foundation, and the HAF is the majority shareholder. Being majority shareholder means you hav 51% or more of the vote. Jackson is essentially the Chairman of the Board because even if the board voted unanimously, their vote couldn't count. Jackson has the controlling vote.
  24. Once Upon a Time Review: Love Could Have Been Enough

    @Spookypaws,

    She did though. As soon as she cast the candle curse over Cora's heart, Snow killed Cora. And to ensure Cora's death, she manipulated Regina's love for her mother to re-insert the heart.
  25. Once Upon a Time Review: Love Could Have Been Enough

    @KansasGuest

    I have a theory that Princess Cora is denied her crown of queen due to Rumpel. If you remember when Regina first finds Cora's spellbook, Henry already knew of Rumpel and warned Regina about him, as he gave the spellbook to Cora. Rumpel may have traded the spellbook for her kingdom, or it may have involved that battle that Regina referred, as who claimed victory depends on who tells the story.

    It would also make sense if her crown was lost to Eva, as it would incite her hate. I doubt a simple "trip" would make Cora want to destroy Eva's legacy. But I'm sure we'll find out in season 3.
