Katherine Pierce is a vampire who both Damon and Stefan were once in love with. She is both an ancestor and doppelganger of Elena Gilbert.
She was believed to have been trapped in a tomb, but it is discovered that she was never in it. She is very smart and cunning, and tries to manipulate those around her for selfish reasons. She even tricked Rose into turning her into a vampire in order to escape Klaus.

Best vampire on the show!! Don't you dare to cut her off!^^ She is sooo much fun to watch! And honestly I'd like to see her end up with at least one of the Salvatore brothers.^^
