at .

It's almost time to say goodbye to Empire for 2019.

As a result, the series is amping up the tension for its fall finale.

Empire Season 6 Episode 10 focuses on Cookie trying to get Lucious to sign divorce papers so that she can be free of him for good.

However, Lucious sees this opportunity as a challenge to get Cookie to understand that there is still something between the two of them.

If you watch Empire online, you know the couple have had their ups and downs, but their relationship appears to be over this time.

Unfortunately, Lucious can't seem to understand that, and refuses to sign the divorce papers.

This does not go down well with Cookie who is ready to move on to the next chapter of her life as a single woman.

Cookie goes off on Lucious, telling him that she would rather be a widow than be married to him, and that's when she waves a gun at him.

Obviously, it's not the setting of the place we know Lucious gets gunned down, but it's possible that Cookie will actually give him a bullet or two.

The official synopsis has more information for you...

"Cookie becomes frustrated with Lucious, who is struggling to accept that their relationship is over," reads the official logline from FOX.

Cookie's coming home.

Cookie

I started selling drugs when I was 9 years old in Philadelphia. I did it to feed myself. But it was the music that played in my head that kept me alive when I thought I was going to get shot. And it was the melodies that I dreamt about that keep me warm when I was sleeping in the streets.
