Almost Family launched on FOX Wednesday night to little fanfare.
The brand new series, which has not gone down that well with critics, garnered 3 million total viewers and a 0.8 rating.
More worrying is that it dropped considerably from The Masked Singer, which scored 6.8 million total viewers and a 1.9 rating.
Given that most new shows drop in the vicinity of 10 to 20% in their second week, Almost Family may not last long before being replaced.
FOX will not want to waste such a strong lead-in on a show that's not holding much of its lead-in.
#OneChicago continued to resonate for NBC with Chicago Med (7.6 million/1.0 rating) and Chicago Fire (7.6 million/1.1 rating) pulling in the same ratings as last week, while Chicago PD (6 million/1.0 rating) experienced a minor drop.
Over on ABC, Stumptown held steady in the demo, posting another 0.7 rating along with 4 million total viewers.
The Goldbergs (4.3 million/1.0 rating) and Schooled (3.4 million/0.8 rating) were steady with their week-ago season premieres.
Modern Family (4.3 million/1.1 rating) and Single Parents (2.9 million/0.8 rating) each inched up a tenth.
Survivor was steady for CBS, with 6.5 million viewers and a 1.2 rating. SEAL Team returned for Season 3 with 5.2 million viewers and a 0.7 rating, right on par with last year's average.
SWAT, which moved from Thursdays to Wednesdays, garnered 4.1 million viewers and a 0.6 rating, down a bit year-to-year.
The CW ducked the competition with iHeartRadio Music Festival coming in dead last with 0.9 million viewers and a 0.2 rating.
