We're approaching the conclusion of Grey's Anatomy Season 15, and it looks like we're in for another deadly affair.
ABC dropped a press release for Grey's Anatomy Season 15 Episode 25 on Monday, and it sounds like we're going back to the sensational season finales.
Grey's Anatomy Season 14 ended on a happy note, with Alex and Jo gearing up to get married, and April and Arizona saying their goodbyes to their colleagues at Grey Sloane Memorial.
Here's the official press release:
A DENSE FOG ROLLS INTO SEATTLE AND THE DOCTORS OF GREY SLOAN NAVIGATE THROUGH SOME COMPLICATIONS ON THE SEASON FINALE OF ABC’S ‘GREY’S ANATOMY,’ THURSDAY, MAY 16
“Jump into the Fog” – As fog begins to cover Seattle, the doctors of Grey Sloan navigate through personal complications.
Meredith and Alex attempt to save Gus, while Levi talks some sense into a struggling Nico, on the season finale of “Grey’s Anatomy,” THURSDAY, MAY 16 (8:00-9:01 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.
“Grey’s Anatomy” stars Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey, Justin Chambers as Alex Karev, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, James Pickens Jr. as Richard Webber, Kevin McKidd as Owen Hunt, Jesse Williams as Jackson Avery, Caterina Scorsone as Amelia Shepherd, Camilla Luddington as Jo Wilson, Kelly McCreary as Maggie Pierce, Kim Raver as Teddy Altman and Giacomo Gianniotti as Andrew DeLuca.
Guest starring is Debbie Allen as Catherine Fox, Greg Germann as Tom Koracick, Jake Borelli as Levi Schmitt, Chris Carmack as Atticus “Link” Lincoln, Alex Landi as Nico Kim, Sophia Ali as Dahlia Qadri, Arielle Hader as Toby Donnelly and Stefania Spampinato as Carina DeLuca. “Jump into the Fog” was written by Krista Vernoff and directed by Debbie Allen.
The release doesn't say any of our heroes are in danger, but we're willing to bet the finale will wrap with at least one life on the line, and a handful of relationships at breaking point.
Using fog as the basis for the finale is a little on the nose, but there's no telling what horrors will await the staff as they try to work through what is sure to be a difficult day.
Notably, the episode will be penned by showrunner Krista Vernoff, who helped reinvigorate the series when she returned a few seasons back.
Debbie Allen, who plays Catherine will, once again, be stepping behind the camera.
It's sure to be a good one.
