Viewers may soon be venturing back to Beverly Hills, 90210, and some of the show's original cast will be along for the ride.
According to Deadline, a revival of the hit 1990-2000 Fox series is in the works, and several buyers are interested in bringing the project to the masses.
The big positive with this series is that some of the original stars are on board.
Tori Spelling (Donna Martin), Jennie Garth (Kelly Taylor), (Brandon Walsh), Ian Ziering (Steve Sanders), Brian Austin Green (David Silver) and Gabrielle Carteris (Ahhhhhndrea Zuckerman) are all said to be part of the series.
The CW previously revived the series in 2008 with a mostly new cast, so there's no telling whether the latest revival will include any of the younger actors from that show.
That iteration was abruptly canceled with a cobbled together series finale that offered little in the way of closure, so it could be a good marketing tactic to blend both worlds.
Jessica Stroup played Silver on 2008 series, the half-sister of Garth's Kelly, so that could be the link to the most recent cast.
There's no telling where the series will end up, but given how far along it seems, there's a good chance one of the streaming networks will snap it up.
Fox is going in a new direction and doesn't have the most real estate on its schedule, so it's hard to imagine the show's original home stepping in.
As for The CW, it canceled the second iteration, but the network has been doubling down on the reboots of late, so this could be a good addition to the network's line-up.
However, the network is young-skewing, so it's hard to imagine a revival of a 1990s TV show resonating with its younger audience.
Okay, TV Fanatics.
