TV Ratings Report: Life Sentence Premieres Low

at .

Life Sentence is Lucy Hale's (Pretty Little Liars) big return to the small screen, and while it may be one of the cutest shows around, it is also one of the lowest rated.

The series debuted to just 0.76 million viewers and a paltry 0.3 rating in the adults 18-49 demo. For comparison purposes, Dynasty debuted in the slot in October with 1.3 million viewers and a 0.3 rating.

Granted, Life Sentence debuted behind a much weaker Riverdale (1.3 million/0.4 rating), which sunk to season lows after another hiatus.

The true test for Life Sentence will be whether it plays well in delayed viewing. It does not have a lucrative Netflix deal like some of the other CW shows, so it needs to pick up the pace, or it will definitely not make it to Season 2.

ABC: The Goldbergs (5.5 million/1.4 rating), Speechless (4.4 million/1.2 rating), Modern Family (5.2 million/1.4 rating) and American Housewife (4.2 million/1.1 rating) recovered in the ratings, but Designated Survivor (3.6 million/0.6 rating) continued to struggle.

Animal Attack - The X-Files

Fox: The X-Files (3.5 million/0.9 rating) and 9-1-1 (6 million/1.6 rating) each gained a tenth week to week.

CBS: Survivor (8.2 million/1.7 rating), SEAL Team (6.1 million/0.9 rating) and Criminal Minds (5 million/0.9 rating) were on par with their most recent ratings.

Liz in Harold's Office - The Blacklist Season 5 Episode 15

NBC: The Blacklist (5.8 million/1.0 rating), Law & Order: SVU (5.8 million/1.2 rating) and Chicago PD (6.8 million/1.3 rating) each gained a tenth.
