Former Once Upon a Time star, Josh Dallas, has booked his next big TV role.
According to Deadline, the talented actor will lead the cast of NBC's Manifest, which recently scored a pilot order.
The series focuses on passengers returning from a plane that went missing several years ago.
The official logline reads: “A plane disappears from radar and returns years later after being untraceable and presumed lost at sea. No time has passed for those on the plane, but for their loved ones at home, many years have gone by."
"The [potential] series follows their personal lives as well as the larger mystery and purpose that is their destiny.”
It does have similarities to ABC's Lost, but we should really reserve judgment until we lay eyes on the project should it go to series.
Dallas will play the role of Ben Stone, an intelligence analyst who struggles to come to terms with a voice inside his head.
The pilot was written by Jeff Rake, who served as the creator of NBC's dearly departed The Mysteries of Laura.
This marks Josh's first role since he exited ABC's Once Upon a Time after six years in 2017.
The fantasy drama famously cleaned its cast ahead of Once Upon a Time Season 7 after it emerged that the show would be rebooting and moving to a new location.
Aside from Once Upon a Time, Dallas has also appeared in CSI, Hawaii Five-0, and Doctor Who.
Also joining the potential series is Valor's, Melissa Roxburgh. She will play Michaela Stone, a woman who is struggling with guilt over an accident. The character will return after being gone for several years.
Melissa has appeared in Supernatural, Legends of Tomorrow and Travelers.
