Fox launched The Four (3.8 million/1.1 rating) on Thursday night and the two-hour opener outperformed what The Orville and Gotham averaged in the slot earlier in the season.
The numbers could have been higher, but Fox will likely be glad that the show performed a tad higher than the other shows.
NBC: Superstore (3.9 million/1.1 rating), The Good Place (3.1 million/1.0 rating), Great News (2.5 million/0.6 rating) and Chicago Fire (5.9 million/1.1 rating) were on par with their most recent telecasts while Will & Grace (4.9 million/1.4 rating) slipped.
CBS: The Big Bang Theory (16 million/3.1 rating), Young Sheldon (14.7 million/2.6 rating), Mom (10 million/1.7 rating) and Life in Pieces (7.4 million/1.3 rating) picked up steam, while S.W.A.T. (6.2 million/1.1 rating) was stable.
ABC: Truth & Lies: Waco (5.1 million/1.1 rating) was a two-hour special on the network.
