Scandal Round Table: Who Kidnapped Quinn?!

at .

Where is Quinn?

That was the big question on Scandal Season 7 Episode 6, and we are still debating where the character could be.

Below, TV Fanatics Christine Orlando, Lizzy Buczak and Paul Dailly discuss who blew the plane up, what happened to Quinn and so much more.

Olivia and Jake blew up the plane. React!

Christine: That was one of my first guesses last week, and it turns my stomach that Olivia is now so willing to kill so many innocent people. Rashan wanted to work for peace, his niece had a bright future, and we have to assume there was a pilot and crew on board too. It's pretty horrifying that Olivia decided to end all of their lives.

Lizzy: It was pretty obvious but shocking, nonetheless. I expected it from Jake because he's done heinous things before while in B-613 but this is a new low for Liv, especially watching her lie about it to Mellie and nervously trying to cover it up in front of her friends at QPA. She tries to justify her decision, but I think she's trying to convince herself more than anyone else.

Paul: This was another eye-roll moment that solidified the fact that Olivia Pope has gone from one of the best characters on TV to one of the worst. She needs to get her act together, and fast. Aside from that, I never cared much for the reveal.

Shocking Events - Scandal

Who took Quinn, and why?

Christine: Heck if I know! At first, I wondered if it was Olivia, considering she wanted to hide that she blew up the plane, but I really have no idea who took Quinn. Maybe Papa Pope?

Lizzy: Given that there is a limited amount of characters here, I'm going to say Rowan and Fitz teamed up in an attempt to save Olivia from herself. If she's worried about a friend, it means there is still hope for her.

Paul: That's a great theory, Lizzy! I do think Rowan will be involved in some way because that dude is involved in everything on this show.

A Horrific Wedding - Scandal Season 7 Episode 6

Did Charlie go too far by trying to kill Fenton?

Christine: I expected Charlie to go to extremes. His job is to kill and/or torture people. Now he thinks the woman he loves and unborn child may be dead or about to be killed. I had no doubt that he might go too far with Fenton.

Lizzy: It isn't anything we haven't seen him do before. Killing and torturing people is in his nature. I'd be more concerned if he didn't do everything possible to avenge the love of his life and his unborn child. Using Quinn's favorite tools was also a nice touch.

Paul: He went too far, for sure. He took the slightest bit of evidence and seemed to think it would lead him to Quinn.

Is Charlie Responsible? - Scandal Season 7 Episode 6

What did you think of Mellie's meeting with Marcus?

Christine: I think Mellie needs someone she can talk to, and she doesn’t have that. She thought Olivia would be that person, but Olivia has proven she has no moral compass, is power hungry, and can’t be trusted. Marcus was straight with her and reminded her not to let her ego and her anger get in the way of doing what was right. She needed to hear that.

Lizzy: It was what it was — the President of the United States calling her ex-boyfriend for advice. That's always a bad idea. And it didn't seem like Marcus really wanted to be her "go to" guy.

Paul: Yeah, Olivia needs an ally, someone to keep her grounded in reality. Now that Olivia is too far gone, she thought Marcus would be there for her.

Abby is Not Amused - Scandal Season 7 Episode 6

What are your hopes for the midseason finale?

Christine: I hope that Quinn and the baby are safe and reunited with Charlie. I hope that the wedding happens and Huck gets to be both the best man and maid honor! And I hope that Olivia finally turns a corner and realizes that she’s gone too far and needs to reevaluate her life.

Lizzy: Well, I'd love for there to actually be a wedding. Considering Curtis is so close to the truth, I'd love for him to actually expose Liv and become her number one adversary. I also need more Fitz-action so something, anything to do with their relationship is welcome!

Paul: I want the show to actually throw in some interesting storylines. Scandal Season 7 has been an utter snooze fest for the most part, and it's a shame to see it go out like this.
