Grey's Anatomy Casts Six New Interns: Who's In?

at . Comments

It's crazy we're saying this, but Grey's Anatomy Season 14 has been a great return to form for the long-running ABC hospital-set sudser.

Grey's Anatomy Season 13 was one of the worst seasons of the show, so it's great to see that some changes behind the scenes have successfully reinvigorated the series.

Grey's S14 New Interns

If you watch Grey's Anatomy online, you will know there were a bunch of new interns introduced on Grey's Anatomy Season 14 Episode 1. Just one of them proved they had what it took to become a doctor.

That one was Levi, played by Jake Borelli and he was not exactly that great, either. His glasses fell inside a patient during surgery, and that caused a whole host of complications.

Given that Levi was a bit of a diamond in the rough, the drama series will be welcoming five new additions to the pack of interns on Grey's Anatomy Season 14 Episode 4, airing Thursday at 8/7c.

Details are scarce on the new additions aside from their name and who will be playing them, but that's not to say we can't speculate about these thrilling new additions.

Rushi Kota will be taking on the role of Ethan. Kota previously appeared on Famous in Love and CBS summer series, Extant.

Jaicy Elliot will take on the role of Taryn, and the Grey's will mark her first TV credit on the heels of graduating from Meisner school in Santa Monica.

Alex Blue Davis is on board as Casey. He has already had guest stints on NCIS and 2 Broke Girls

Jeanine Mason previously had a series regular gig on Of Kings and Prophets, but that show was swiftly canceled. She also won So You Think You Can Dance Season 5. Mason will take on the role of Sam.

Finally, Sophie Taylor Ali will be playing Dahlia. Ali previously had a recurring gig on MTV's dearly departed Faking It

All six actors have recurring roles on the series, but might any of them become series regular? We'll have to wait and see.

What do you think about all of this?

Grey's Anatomy Quotes

There's a reason I said I'd be happy alone. It wasn't 'cause I thought I'd be happy alone. It was because I thought if I loved someone and then it fell apart, I might not make it. It's easier to be alone, because what if you learn that you need love and you don't have it? What if you like it and lean on it? What if you shape your life around it and then it falls apart? Can you even survive that kind of pain? Losing love is like organ damage. It's like dying. The only difference is death ends. This? It could go on forever.

Oh, screw beautiful. I'm brilliant. If you want to appease me, compliment my brain.
