Ash vs. Evil Dead is returning to Starz for another season of slicing and dicing.
The network has confirmed the hit comedy-horror series will kick off Season 3 on Sunday, February 25.
The series stars Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams. He is the man tasked with saving the world from the forces of evil, but he's not exactly the hero one would expect.
He's more of an anti-hero, and that's part of what makes the show such a fun watch. Just when you think he's turned a corner, he does something crazy that makes us question his real motives.
Lucy Lawless is also part of the talented cast. She plays Ruby, who has a hot and cold relationship with Ash. Sometimes she can be his right-hand woman, but other times, she can be the enemy.
According to the logline for the upcoming season, "Ash’s status in Elk Grove, MI, has changed from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero."
"When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby’s fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn’t done with them yet."
The new season will also find Ash coming face-to-face with his long-lost daughter. Her name is Brandy Barr and she will be played by Arielle Carver-O’Neill.
On top of all the new details, the network also unveiled brand new key art.
Have a look below.
It's clearly alluding to the fact that Ash and his team are ready to take evil down once and for all, but will that make for an exciting new batch of episodes?
