Lyla Garrity's story is over.
But the actress who played the brilliant character is returning to TV.
That's right, we're talking about the wonderful Minka Kelly here, and she has snagged a role on Bull Season 2.
Kelly will play Kara Clayton, who happens to be the much younger wife of media powerhouse, Marcus Clayton.
Kara takes the law into her own hands and murders Marcus after he stabs her multiple times.
This paves the way for Kara to inherit her husband's $6 billion estate. So, she stands to be as rich as hell.
That's not something the Clayton family is willing to let happen, so they enlist Bull to have her tried for murder.
With Kara being presented by Bull's love interest, Diana Lindsay, he will find himself in an awkward situation as he tries to discredit her client.
It will likely make for some comical scenes as the two spar at every turn, but is this plot merely thrown in to bring them closer together?
Kelly became a household name after appearing as a series regular on NBC's Friday Night Lights for three seasons.
She subsequently moved on to movies, before returning to TV with roles in The Path and Jane The Virgin.
She was also a part of ABC's ill-fated Charlie's Angels reboot which lasted just eight episodes before being given the pink slip.
It's unclear at this time whether her role on Bull will span more than one episode.
The crime drama debuted last September and quickly solidified itself as one of the higher rated dramas on CBS.
Bull Season 1 averaged 11.4 million viewers and a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49.
