The Walking Dead Season 8: Three Cast Members Made Series Regulars

at .

The Walking Dead will be back for Season 8 later this year, but who will be part of the cast for the new season?

Thankfully, we now know we'll be seeing a lot more of three characters since Steven Ogg (Simon), Katelyn Nacon (Enid) and Pollyanna McIntosh have achieved series regular status.

Jadis - The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 10

All three characters will be in more episodes next season, which is a good thing. Simon is the no-nonsense right-hand man to Negan, but we've yet to see any back story for him.

He first appeared on The Walking Dead Season 6 and has recurred since. He has a fake bromance going on with the current leader of Hilltop, Gregory.

Considering the way things are going at Hilltop and people being against the leader, it's fair to assume Gregory will be visiting Simon before we know it.

Meanwhile, Nacon has been on the show for a bit longer, with a relationship blossoming with Rick's son, Carl. Romances do not tend to have a long shelf life on this show, so it would not have been all that shocking if she was killed off.

Maybe Carl will be the one to be killed off with the ongoing speculation about whether Chandler Riggs is being written out of the series.

Carl and Enid - The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 5

Rounding out the latest casting intel, Katelyn Nacon's Jadis has only been on the show for a few months, but she made a huge play for power on The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 16 when she double-crossed Rick's group.

Will Jadis be redeemed, or will Rick and company go after her? We have no idea, but we are so in for more from these characters.

The Walking Dead Season 7 said goodbye to fan-favorites, Steven Yuen (Glen) Michael Cudlitz (Abraham) and Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha).
