Did you check out the winners of the 2017 SAG Awards?

If so, then you know the ensemble cast for Orange Is the New Black were rewarded for their amazing the dark, gritty, emotional and comedic portrayals of inmates, prison guards, wardens and family.

Danielle Brooks

You know, everyone who makes up The Litch and its surroundings.

And if that wasn't exciting enough for you, then you'll really love what Danielle Brooks (Taystee) had to say about what's coming up on Orange Is the New Black Season 5.

It's merely a hint, but definitely gives us an idea of where the season might be heading.

A focus, at the very least.

Orange Is the New Black and Netflix are usually very tight lipped about what's ahead for the new season.

This, though, is something to to grasp onto and use to start formulating our theories on what's coming next.

During an interview with E!, Brooks revealed, "Season five is done over the course of three days."

"You will watch 13 episodes, and find out what happens in the course of three days. So, it will be very detailed, very intense, and you better get ready."

"Get your popcorn, your tissues, everything. I don't know when it's coming out because they never tell us, but sometime in the summer."

Three days!!!

Given that short period of time, the need for tissues and popcorn, it sounds like the season will pick up right after the events of Orange Is the New Black Season 4.

What better time to cover a shortened, intense time period than at the beginning of a riot? Surely there's going to be a riot.

After Poussey's death, the prolonged standing at attention on the tables in the meal room and Daya picking up and pointing the gun, it will be hard to stop them.

Brooks SAG

Can you imagine someone else playing Taystee?

It almost came to that when Brooks discovered the role required her to play the part topless in one of her opening scenes.

Thankfully, she saw the role beyond the initial scenes and took the chance on the role of her lifetime.

She told E! Why she believes the show resonates so deeply with fans.

"Definitely the strong female roles, but I think that people see themselves, regardless if you're a male or female, gay, straight, whatever religion you are, whatever color you are, you can relate to someone in that story," she said.

"And it's so truthful, and I think that's why people relate. I'm glad that I'm a part of it, telling this story with all these girls [who] you'll see today. They're all here. We're rolling deep."

"I love being a part of Orange Is the New Black."
