It looks like Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) might be having some daddy issues on The Flash Season 2.

Michael Ironside has been cast as Lewis Snart, father to both Captain Cold and the Golden Glider, Lisa Snart (Peyton List). 

Not much is known about Papa Snart from the comics other than he was an abusive father, so much so that Leonard spent a good portion of his time growing up under the care of his grandfather, who ran an ice truck.

Lewis Snart is now being described as a "cold-blooded, ruthless career criminal. Recently released from prison, he returns to Central City with a plan that will endanger both of his children."

Ironside will first appear on The Flash Season 2 Episode 3. Whether he will remain on the series and follow his son onto DC's Legends of Tomorrow remains to be seen.
