It will soon be Elementary for a former Fringe star.
CBS has confirmed via press release that John Noble will come on board Elementary this fall as Sherlock Holmes’ wealthy, estranged father.
The character has been mentioned multiples time in past seasons as being instrumental in Sherlock’s initial stint in rehab three years ago; he helped team his son with Joan Watson, who served as his former sober companion.
Noble will debut on the Elementary Season 4 premiere when Mr. Holmes arrives in The Big Apple to deal with the aftermath of his son’s recent relapse.
"We could not be more delighted to have John Noble taking on such an important role,” said Robert Doherty, Series Creator and Executive Producer.
“We’ve enjoyed his work for many years now – especially his tremendous run on Fringe – and cannot wait to see him opposite Jonny and Lucy. It’s going to be an exciting season."
You can say that again!
