Grey's Anatomy Season Finale Teaser: What Will Happen Next?!?

Can Shonda Rhimes save Grey's Anatomy Season 11?

It's no secret that fans were not happy when she killed off Derek Shepherd. And they were even more unhappy when she time-jumped past the grieving process last Thursday night... while producing a baby girl for Meredith!

On Grey's Anatomy Season 11 Episode 23 last night, meanwhile, Amelia did confront Meredith over her brother's passing.

But it sure feels as if the series wants to move past Derek's existence as quickly as possible, doesn't it?

What will all this mean heading into Grey's Anatomy Season 11 Episode 24?

It's hard to say based on the vague preview above, but the official network synopsis teases that "the doctors continue to tackle an unfathomable crisis."

As they do so, Meredith and company "are reminded of what is important and brought closer together."

We'll see if this finale can rescue what has been a disappointing last couple weeks... but at least ABC has already picked Grey's Anatomy up for Season 12.

Think it will see Season 13 at this rate?

Grey's Anatomy Season 11 Episode 24 Quotes

Richard: I am not crying wolf
Bailey: Sir?
Richard: I do not make decisions lightly. And I don't bow to dictators. Miranda Bailey, you will be Grey Sloan Memorial's next chief of surgery. Congratulations.
Bailey: Thank you?

I like this Kepner. I never thought I would like Kepner. You know, old Kepner -- there was pigtails, bunny rabbits, and smiling. Lots of smiling. But Kepner the reboot, Kepner 2.0, she's crazy. She's fierce. She's womaned up. Thank you, United States Army.
