Outlander at PaleyFest: Stars Speak on New Episodes, Darkness to Come

at .

The Highlands came to Hollywood this past week, as the cast and creatives of the Starz hit series Outlander took to the stage at the Paley Center For Media's PaleyFest.

Stars Sam Heughan (Jamie), Caitriona Balfe (Claire) and Tobias Menzies (Frank/Black Jack Randall) were joined by executive producer Ron Moore and author Diana Gabaldon, who brought the world to life in her popular series of books.

I was stationed on the red carpet to chat with them before the screening and Q&A panel, so let's see what they had to say about the upcoming new episodes of Outlander Season 1.

Sam Heughan talked about what it means for us to get more of Jamie's perspective in these episodes.

Caitriona Balfe talked Claire's feelings about her past and the challenges of the upcoming witch hunt episode.

Does Tobias Menzies play Captain Black Jack Randall as a villain?

How does Ron Moore describe these upcoming new episodes?

Diana Gabaldon is still writing the books. Is there an end in sight for her?

Outlander returns April 4 on Starz.

Outlander Quotes

Sex was our bridge back to one another. The one place where we always met. Whatever obstacles presented themselves during the day or night, we could seek out and find each other again in bed. As long as we had that, I had faith that everything would work out.

Claire voiceover about Frank

The war had taught me to cherish the present because tomorrow might not ever come to pass. What I didn’t know at the time was that tomorrow would prove less important than yesterday.
