CBS Renews Trio of New Dramas

CBS has announced a trio of new drama renewals.
Scorpion, Madam Secretary and NCIS: New Orleans will all return for second seasons this fall, according to the country's most-watched network.
“These freshman dramas have each made a big impact on key nights of the week,” said Nina Tassler, Chairman, CBS Entertainment. “Creatively distinctive, the series are backed by strong showrunners with amazingly talented casts, and have resonated with a big, broad audience.”
The NCIS spinoff ranks as this season’s top-rated new series, while Madam Secretary check in at number-two and Scorpion at number-three.
Yesterday, meanwhile, The CW announced the renewal of EIGHT dramas, confirming that it's entire current slate will return in 2015-2016.
