Cliff Curtis Cast as Male Lead on The Walking Dead Companion Series

Cliff Curtis is on his way to AMC.
The Gang Related alum has snagged the male lead in the upcoming Walking Dead companion series, coming on board the highly anticipated drama as a divorced teacher who aims to do right by everyone in his life.
The female lead will be a a guidance counselor who has not yet been cast.
The untitled Walking Dead spinoff will take place place during the same zombie apocalypse as the one chronicled on The Walking Dead - but set in a different location.
Among others, it will center on Curtis' teacher; the aforementioned guidance counselor; and Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey, who were recently cast as the latter's kids.
The series will debut some time in 2015.
