Perception Canceled by TNT After Three Seasons

at .  Updated at .

Eric McCormack is joining Breckin Meyer and Mark-Paul Gosselaar on the unemployment line.

TNT announced today they won't be filming a fourth season of Perception, the series that focused on McCormack's eccentric neuropsychiatrist who worked with the FBI to solve some of their toughest cases.

Making It Worse

Apparently TNT is going through a branding change, where they're "going to get edgier, we are going to get louder," according to Turner Broadcasting President David Levy.

That plan includes chopping both Perception and Franklin & Bash from the roster.

They'll be bringing Noah Wyle's The Librarians to the air soon, and have ordered to series the Sharon Stone vehicle Agent X. She'll play the vice president with sole authority to call upon a top secret agent played by Chicago Fire's Jeff Hephner.
