AMC has given fans their first look at The Walking Dead Season 5.

Granted, it's not the most revealing look, but we'll take anything we can get to whet our appetite prior the television's highest-rated show returning in October.

In this case, that means a photo of Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes, looking bloodied, bearded and focused on... something:

AMC is yet to announced a premiere date for The Walking Dead Season 5, but we know this much:

• Seth Gilliam is on board as a series regular.
• Christian Serratos (Rosita), Alanna Masterson (Tara) and Andrew J. West (Gareth) have all received promotions to this same status.
