According to the official ABC synopsis, the Scandal Season 3 finale will feature the arrival of Election Day, which means nothing will be "off limits as the candidates try to capture votes."

Elsewhere, Olivia will attempt "to understand Maya’s motives" and Charlie will "make a very surprising move."

But why do we somehow think Scandal Season 3 Episode 18 will be a bit more action-packed and shocker-filled than this description implies?

Oh. Right. Because it's Scandal!
