On Sleepy Hollow Season 1 Episode 9, viewers learned that Ichabod Crane has a son.

But Fox has announced that viewers will soon meet another family member of this famous, resurrected Revolutionary War hero.

Veteran actor Victor Garber has been cast as Ichabod's father, a character who will appear on at least one upcoming episode in - we'd have to imagine - a series of flashbacks.

Little is known about the character, except that Ichabod had a healthy relationship with the man.

Garber most recently appeared on NBC's Deception and will appear on The Good Wife Season 5 as a judge.
