Leave it to Breaking Bad to get us excited for new episodes... without including any past or future footage at all from the award-winning series.

In a new promo from AMC, we simply see shots of the New Mexico desert, set against a reading of the sonnet "Ozymandias" by star Bryan Cranston. It's simple, it's unexpected - and it's incredibly effective.

Little is actually known about Breaking Bad Season 5 - the only clips released so far are brief and vague in nature, with Jesse lying under a table and Hank behind the wheel - but that doesn't make us less excited for the concluding run of television's best drama.
