@Gatorgal - Hi! Yeah I know the interview to which you're referring, and it's important to note that the unofficial "B-List" REPORTER/Blogger is the one who's "opining" that the team should be split up. That's not Gary's words & it certainly was never Don's plan. In fact I think that report/blog took excerpts from an ACTUAL Glasberg interview with someone else!!

Michael, you obviously need to familiarize yourself with how NCIS actually STARTED. Once you do, THEN come back & tell me what Gibbs said/didn't say. Clearly you missed all of Season 1.

"Something that I think need to be address right off the bat is how can Gibbs and Ziva arrest people for murder when they have kill innocet people themself."

Innocent people? Everyone Ziva or Gibbs has killed where far from innoncent.
(Pedro Hernandez, Ari, Saleem, and etc.)

@Michael: You're wrong. Gibbs specifically told Tony to stop with EJ and he told EJ to stay away from Tony. You can't get much clearer than that.

@Julia64 The situation on Stargate SG-1 was unresolved in a way, but it was clearly hinted at when Agent Barrett asked Carter how Pete was, and she said that they broke up. So, he asked hopefully if she was free again, and she said, not exactly. It's complicated. That was a very clear hint that she and General O'Neill were involved, but on the downlow.

Let's not also forget the terrible snafu with the clothes in "Chasing Ghosts" and the obvious changing of the car crash scene between "Berlin" and "Revenge". At the end of "Berlin" Tony clearly intertwines their fingers and after the wreck you see what looks like Ziva's fingernail marks on the top of his hand. But, at the beginning of "Revenge" they have Tony only cupping the top of her hand and no visible blood or marks on the top of his hand after the crash. The writers should be aware of how dedicated their fans are and how we DO pay attention to all elements of an episode. I guess "Dropped you off at the airport" must sound better than "Saw you off at the airport" or maybe it is just MW adlibbing as he tends to do. But yes, the lack of continuity bothers me, too.

@Dani: the comment about the team being split up: "One consideration, of course, is the fact that if they ever do hook up, one of them would have to be reassigned to another team." This is from the interview with GG but you are right in that we do not know if it was from him or the interviewer's editorial comment.

@MCAL: Tony mentioned the frog when he was yelling at his phone after listening to the message left from the insurance company.

(cont'd) keeping their personal feelings in check. It's time Gibbs stepped back a little bit more anyways, and let Tony take on even more of the day-to-day team duties.

Julia64 & Gatorgal I've enjoyed your posts. And you're right; There have been A LOT of editorial snafus in the script. The writers are getting sloppier by the minute with their lack of continuity. Dropped off vs. Saw off is a big difference. Re: the [much-debated] Rule 12: Gary G. has never stated the team would have to be split up if Tiva hooked up, because that isn't true. Don B. never said that either. Rule 12 was created for GIBBS' benefit only due to his painful breakup with Jenny; it's not even about Tony & Ziva. The workaround to all this is if you recall early NCIS (S1), Gibbs already told Tony that once he gets his own team, he can then make his OWN rules. The S10 SF apparently "breaks all the rules", as stated in the promo. Perhaps Gibbs' latest crisis will finally make him loosen his grip concerning his "Rules", allowing Tony & the team to take on more leadership responsibilities. Plus, Tony & Ziva have already proven they can work side by side, while keeping their personal feelings in check.
