Well, that didn't take long.

Sunday's premiere of the epic - which is based on George R.R. Martin's beloved novel series - earned an all-time high of 4.4 million viewers, up 4% from the Season 2 opener.

The upcoming fourth season will still be produced by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss and may even feature a cameo by Martin, according to network sources.

Great News...but can they increase the episode count. Therefore we can get to see some more subtle scenes that are missed from 10 eps given for the season.

No surprises here - after such strong season's premiere, it was expected.

Unfortunately, the 1 hour episodes of GOTs is merely a shell of the stories so magnificently told by Mr. Martin..you can become so completely enveloped in his books. His imagination, descriptive words and nuances places you right along side his characters. So much of story line is changed or omitted altogether in the HBO series. I appreciate that they have only an hour in which to depict the story. I only watch because of the superb acting, especially Peter Dinklage.
