Vampire Diaries "American Gothic" Synopsis: The Return of Elijah!

Elijah is on his way back!
On March 28, this CW drama will air "American Gothic," an episode that will feature the surprising team of Elena and Rebekah, as they set off in search of Katherine, as well as the return of Daniel Gillies in the role of everyone's favorite Original.
In what context will Elijah - who will also be seen on the April 26 backdoor pilot for The Originals - show up? What else can fans expect from this Vampire Diaries Season 4 installment?

Elena and Rebekah take off in search of Katherine and find themselves in a small town in Pennsylvania, where Elena has a surprising encounter with another old acquaintance — Elijah.
Stefan and Damon are both concerned about Elena’s state of mind and are determined to do what’s best for her, but she makes it clear that helping her will be difficult. Damon is not sure how to react when Stefan reveals his unexpected plan for the future.
Meanwhile, in Mystic Falls, Klaus receives Caroline’s reluctant help and comes to a new understanding of Silas’ powers.

Who knows what will happen when Elijah returns but I hope he can at least do something to make the show feel normal again besides the whole cure hunt. ;P =|

Please let Stefan move to NO and leave his thirsty ass brother and dull ass Elena together. Let the Delena stans keep this show alive,because it is getting more and more ridiculous by the day.

Seen someone here mention that they hope it's Elena that Klaus has sex with...that would be a sacrilege! I rather see him sleep with Hayley. To be honest it's about time they gave Elena more of an edge however I think it's too late to do so. Now it just seems like they want another Katherine. I mean people can't even tell if they are supposed to be looking at Katherine or Elena now. For that they should get rid of Elena and keep Katherine.

yeah this is so freakin ridicoulas i hate that they could just let elana and damon be together for one season julie plec sucks anymore and the wroters are not tying up their lose ends....is the sire bond story never made sense ....there were too many loose ends ..also they made silas such a huge story line then not even hired an actor to play him...bonnie and caroline are hardly ever on screen neither is matt...the whole season to me didnt make sense and julie really FUCKED up and ripped off delana Shippers
