@Kristen: "When Tamsin told Lauren about the kiss I was thinking that she was trying to sabotage herself with the hairs in the jar thing. Like...ruining Bo and Laurens love or trust so that even though she got the hairs into the jar it wouldn't be effective. Tamsin would be protected because she did what she could but also Bo would be safe. If that makes sense?"

Interesting thought. Maybe you're right.

I've wanted Bo with Dyson from the beginning but kinda feel the same way Kenzi has about Lauren. I didn't really like her in the first couple seasons, this year she's started to grow on me. I agree with what other ppl are saying, though, about her being too mopey all the time. She needs to lighten up, she was funny when she was drunk (and looked AMAZING in the ep). I love, love LOVED the Lauren/Dyson talk, and the Bo/Dyson talk was pretty good as well.

"I don’t see how you can take such a flying leap and call the separation between Bo and Lauren a “break up.” It’s a “break” — otherwise known as taking some space and time for introspection and clarity."

Wishful thinking. I doubt that more than a small fraction of couples who "take a break" ever reunite. I couldn't find any research on the topic, but I did learn that nearly four out of five married couples who separate eventually divorce. I know that in my personal experience, 100% of the lovers who ask for a break really want to break up for good and are not quite yet ready to admit it to themselves ... or to you.

This is fiction, of course, so anything could happen, but the vibe coming off of Lauren was much more final than "just a temporary break." And, seriously, what do you think is going to change that would make her reconsider?

I was glad that Bo and Lauren broke up this week, because, honestly, I have never been a fan of Dr Lauren Boring...she's just so vanilla and washes out next to Bo's exciting, vivid character (and Kenzi's too). But I did love the end scene with Lauren and Dyson talking about why they love her and why it's so hard to love her. I seriously hope that she gets back together, at least for healing, with Dyson, and I hope that she takes other interesting Fae lovers, because they can handle her taking a lot the sexual chi from them without becoming depleted or dying (or whining about it like Lauren did). I was glad to see Linda Hamilton on the show, but I have a feeling Tamsin is going to have to choose between her and Bo, and I bet Bo will win. I would love to know who the Wanderer is, and what he wants with Bo, but I imagine we will see soon enough. I love this show!

I'm guessing Acacia is still alive, otherwise it was a waste to cast Linda Hamilton. The "creature of the week" storyline wasn't that interesting, but I loved the scene where Lauren raised her hand that she knew how to make a pipe bomb. I also liked the Dyson/Lauren scene at the end. It will be interesting to see how there friendship could develop. They have a lot in common in that they both love Bo and they both lost significant others to the Garuda. They could potentially have a friendship so strong that there would be a future policy of "bros before hos" between them. I'm not really a Bo/Lauren fan, but I am a Lauren fan and felt sorry for her character.

Bo was Fae before, but now she's really Fae post-dawning. Bo's destiny/career will always come first before any romantic pairing. So much is made of the shipper storylines, but I really feel that Lauren and Dyson love Bo more than Bo loves either of them. If a fairy godmother came down and said that she could grant Bo and Lauren a happily ever after, but Bo would have to give up her succubus nature, Bo would never go for it. She loves being a succubus and being this all-powerful being with a destiny. Who wouldn't? Dyson was willing to give up his wolf for her, but I don't think she would ever give up her succubus nature for him. Dying for someone is one thing, but becoming unhappy for a lifetime is another. I've seen this with people who lay there lives on the line for a living, but can't make their personal relationships work.

The person I believe Bo loves the most in the world is Kenzi. The relationship is definitely (and should be) one of sisterly/maternal love but it is the constant in her life. I think people naturally find it easier to emotionally invest in children, parents, siblings, and friendships that seem like family more than romantic relationships due to the nature of there not being a sexual entanglement.

I can give Bo/Lauren my blessing if the writers make it so that Dyson no longer has to pine for Bo and allow Dyson to be in a fulfilling romantic relationship. I just want him to be happy. I'm sure the writers can create a relationship for him that is exciting and wonderful.

for Bo to show up. Bo may be in love with Lauren and may want to be with Lauren, but she hasn’t learned what it takes to maintain a relationship with a lover and she needs to learn that she cannot neglect Lauren and take her for granted. Lauren’s decision to ask for a break was formed after Tamsin demoralized her by making her doubt Bo’s fidelity. Tamsin is a Valkyrie skilled in creating confusion and self-doubt, and she used her skill on Lauren intentionally. Neither Lauren, nor Bo have given up on each other — and as much as this may pain those who dream of Bo returning to Dyson (not going to happen) or having a fling with Tamsin (not going to happen), sooner than later they will be reunited because the show’s creative team knows too well what goose lays the golden eggs for Lost Girl.

“When Bo and Dyson ended their relationship, Bo was heartbroken, but it wasn't devastating in the same manner as this break up will be.”

I don’t see how you can take such a flying leap and call the separation between Bo and Lauren a “break up.” It’s a “break” — otherwise known as taking some space and time for introspection and clarity. There isn’t a fictional TV couple that for dramatic effect hasn’t had a wrench thrown into it to keep the show's audience interested in it. Bo willfully chose Lauren to be in a committed relationship with. In this season Bo has thanked Dyson TWICE for helping her (to heal from internal bleeding in ep. 3.04 and for being her “Hand” in the Temple in ep. 3.09) and TWICE she has followed it by making it clear to him that she was “still in love with Lauren.” However, Bo has lied to Lauren about her whereabouts and who she has been with. She failed to accompany Lauren to her special award ceremony and left her waiting for Bo to show up. What kind of psychotic personality trolls everything-Lost Girl to post comments such as hoping “the kid would kill her [Lauren].” It must be exhausting for someone to be living in a planet of their own invention where the solution to everything they don’t like is to wish it would die.

This is such a great show..the chemistry between Bo and Lauren is amazing and so sweet. It broke my heart that they are on a break. I agree Lauren needs more of a story line, Zoie Palmer is a great actress and she is stunning. I hope the writers agree and bring them back together. We need more relationships portrayed on television the show a positive message that's its okay to love who you love. And they belong together
