CBS to Shift Vegas to Friday, Maintain Tuesday Time Slot for Golden Boy
CBS has announced some very good news for fans of Golden Boy.
And less than good news for fans of Vegas.
Despite previously announcing that Golden Boy - based on the meteoric rise of a young detective to police commissioner - would move to Fridays at 9 p.m. after a pair of special Tuesday evening showings, the network has decided to keep Golden Boy in that time slot because it has been averaging nearly 10 million viewers per week there.
HOWEVER, a new episode of Golden Boy will air as originally scheduled this Friday at 9/8c.
Vegas, meanwhile, will be moved over to that slot starting on April 5. This doesn't bode well for the odds of this Dennis Quaid/Michael Chiklis drama earning a second season.

I have Golden Boy recorded to watch this weekend, but I thought the ratings were dismal? Another site that predicts such things is predicting cancellation.

Vegas has more growing momentum than the new Golden Boy series that is pretty decent. Hopefully this means that the network thinks Vegas can hold it's own. However, I really miss Vegas already, hurry back.
