@RedOktober: Yes I love Damon, I love Elena and I love them together and yes they are awesome but I never said that they never do wrong 'cause it's not true and it's what makes them special, they do wrong things either for a good reason, as a self destructive or because they are just wrong and they know that and they face it and learn from it and that's how they grow and evolve and that's why they are awesome.

@Red, about Sunshine. Thank you for saying that about the sunshine. I thought that I was the only one who want to gag every time I read that non-factor bullshit that goes on and on and on. Shine's opinions are endlessly annoying. Write a damn book or something. This is not English literature 101 or a book report.

@ Sunshine Rise
Do you ever get tired of sprouting your biased Damon bullshit? You always say the exact same things. "DE is awesome and can do no wrong" times infinity and to the zenith variable......

And about not wanting the cure I believe that the only reason that he doesn't want it is his fear that he will lose Elena the moment she turn human again and he showed that fear all along the episode and who can blame him? He loved Katherine, turned for her, waited for her for a 145 year just to know that she didn't love him so right now he's just pushing her away as a self defence mechanism or a self destructive before she walks away from him because as much as he wants to believe that her love is real he just can't handle another heartbreak and disappointment if it isn't specially that she never acted toward that love before she turned into a vampire (before the sire bond).

And 3rd, for the first time Elena talks about her future and she wants Damon in that future, she want to be with him, love him and grow old with him and this is the most precious thing to me 'cause as we all know she never wanted to think about her future when she was with Matt nor with Stefan but she did with Damon and no matter what nothing will change that.
5/ As Matt said Damon is a big lier. He cares about "the kids" it's just Elena is his priority and he made that clear since season 2 with his quote:"I will aways chose you" plus Shane is a big threat that his death is better then his life.

. And I really have a conflict feelings toward Klaus, I felt happy that he got trapped but at the same time I felt his greif for his brother and as mach I love watching him with Caroline I find him this guy who put his rage and his need to be dominant above all even if it meant hurting the people that he loves and cares about and this episode was no difference, he put Carolines life in danger just to get what he wants and saving her life won't change the fact hat he's the one who put it in danger in the 1st place for the 2nd time. So he has to work really hard to earn her forgiveness if he want it.
4/ I must say that Damon and Elena's scenes were a gut wrenching but we got great points : 1st it showed Elena's understanding of Damon's self destructiveness and how she can see that he's acting that way out of his believe that he doesn't deserve her (what he told her in his 1st love confession to her).

And I loved how she saved Elena, how she described being a vampire and why she wants to be human again but to be honest I find Stefan's motives are irrational, saying that the cure is his way to get over his guilt? Sorry but turning human again won't erase all his kill unless the cure will cause him an amnesia. And by the end of this episode I must say that I find Rebekah Damon's female version: all she wants is to be loved but she didn't have nothing but betrayal and lies so she can't put all her trust on them.
3/ I loved Tyler and Klaus' scene that was good and I love the leader Tyler. He made a good move by leaving Caroline in front of Klaus where he will have no option but saving her 'cause lets face it no one will let the one that he love die in front of his eyes when he can save him unless he's a pure evil and with all Klaus' acts he's not a pure evil.

And as much I hate him for what he's planning I really enjoyed watching his interactions with Damon and how he made his plan in a way in order to make sure that he won't kill him the moment they have the cure and sees him as a problem between him and his plan with Silis so he need him to walk away and the torture scene was awesome.
2/ I love Rebekah and loved Stefan around her. I think that she made a good point when she clarified that she's not the bad gay or at least not the only bad guy because everyone of them has have his bad guy moment and what she did to Elena even that it was a bad thing it was her only way to protect her family and that they would have done the same thing to protect the people they cares about.

I agree with "Mrs alex o'loughlin" & "mg " and I find this episode a great episode that I really loved and enjoyed .This episode gave us answers to many of our questions, showed everyone's point of view about the cure and showed us one of Klaus' crises moments (his love vs his need to be the dominant).
1/ After this episode I started to think that there is no cure and that this all is just a plan from Silis to get out of his tomb and Shane is just obsessed to see his wife and son that he wants to believe anything so he can't think straight . A magic well ? Seriously?

Blu

Thank you Matt. I am in complete concurrence with everything you said. It was by far the weakest episode of the season so far.
