way. c) David and Abby broken up – oh awful Olivia. I felt bad for both of them but let’s not forget that David was using Abby in the beginning to get info on Olivia and then they were working together to bring Olivia down. And Abby was using David to get back at Olivia for not being more forthcoming with info she thought she deserved to know, so 5. Yes, I love these characters, I love Olivia and Fitz together, they probably don’t have a future together, but I’m a dreamer. I love Huck, even though he is an assassin, a master assassin, like the VP found out. Don’t like Quinn so much, not in the beginning, not now, hopefully that will turn around soon, because I want to like all the GLADIATORS. Abby, she’s a stiff person on all levels; she has a negative opinion about most things. She’s not very loyal either. She’s coming back but she messed up big time in my eyes and Harrison, did you just see that smile light up my face, Harrison, Gladiator to the bone, like Huck. I am a Scandal lover. This show is by far, one of the best shows on TV. Thanks Shonda and staff.

She hates Olivia, not because Olivia loves her husband, but because Olivia has power over him, which is all Mellie wanted from Fitz in the first place. She created him, to her; he was a piece of clay, not the love of her life, but her ticket to the seat of power. She is there. That's what she wanted, that's what she got. No tears for Mellie. 3. For all you Edison lovers, do you even know this guy? Can't put my finger on it but this guy is shady. Why would he even suspect that Olivia and Fitz had a relationship, why would he come to that conclusion? He didn't see them together, or looking lovingly into to each other’s eyes, so, like I said, don't trust this guy. 4. All the bad things that Olivia has done - well let’s see, a) She said yes to voter fraud (very bad). b) After Hollis planted that bomb and set up Quinn, Olivia/Huck and Verna saved Quinn, twice. Did any of them know that Hollis was a psychopath, I think not, at least not back then, they found out the hard way. c) David and Abby broken up – oh awful Olivia. I felt bad for both of them but let’s not forget that David was using Abby in the beginning to get info on Olivia and then they were working together to bring Olivia down. When Olivia met Fitz, Fitz and Mellie were at odds with each other. They had no relationship at all. They were not the happy couple, this was not a secret. Olivia showed up and Fitz fell head over heels in love (for real), this was not a one night stand, this was not a distraction for a few days. Fitz' calls Olivia "the love of his life". Cyrus knows it; Mellie knows it as well as Olivia. So let's start from there. You call Fitz a cheater, well yeah he is. Should he have asked for a divorce way back then, yeah he probably should have, but in the real world, maybe that would not have been the best choice. So, making Olivia the bad guy in this situation is nonsense. Do we know why Mellie and Fitz was not a happily married couple, there's the rub. I will not make Fitz the bad guy, because we don't know the whole story. 2. Sometimes you love Mellie, because Mellie can play you like a drum. I love this character, she is so rich with malice, and there is no love there at all. 3. I loved this episode. The scene when Olivia has those flashbacks befole she lays in bed was so fantastic, mostly because in those seconds it actually showed all of her actions I disliked.
I might be completely alone in this, but I want Quinn and Harrison to hook up, and I want Abby and David to get back together.

Huck. I love Huck. I love the ease of their relationship. He's the one that always gets through to her. He's the keeper of her secrets and she his. I'm a huge Olitz fan but shipping isn't my thing. The most fascinating relationships are the unromantic ones and Oluck is my favorite. The love, devotion, loyalty they have to each other is twisted, dark, but beautiful. That was one of my favorite scenes of the night. I also love the Mellie /Cyrus relationship. They speak of Fitz as though he's their kid. They have a partnership and devious and diabolical dynamic. Mellie was fantastic in this episode. Her speech about fixing Fitz that story at the obgyn. Great stuff. The elevator scene with Charlie and Hollis did take me back to Billy Chambers. Putting all the pieces together this was a spectacular episode indeed. Dying to know who put the hit out.

This episode was incredible and this review was good too!Olivia truly does catch s lot of heat from the fans that I can never understand. This show portrays people as the complex enigmas that they are. Everyone is morally compromised or morally grey. In doing that they give each character a sympathetic streak that makes them likeable in spite of their actions. I think a while back I was explaining that I love Olivia Pope because she isn't perfect and I never believed she carelessly did things. So I loved that this episode showed this. Showed how it catches up to her! And can we talk about Olivia and her men? The two that are in love with her didn't quite know what to do but wanted to make things better. Cyrus, her father figure, let her know that he'd fix things for her and then told her to snap the eff out of it. Harrison always loyal let her know that she's still a good person and she needed that reassurance. And then...contd.

The laptop being there, nevermind, 2 years later was contrived.

Cont. I find myself wanting Cyrus to have a loving home with James plus successfully adopting a child etc On the other hand I find myself really hating the characters when they swing more to the dark side like Cyrus and Hollis having Amanda and Quinn's BF killed respectively or Huck enjoying the 'art' of killing or Mellie putting her child's life in danger and inducing pregnancy just to keep her marriage and be FLOTUS and POTUS one day or Olivia having Harrison lie about David being a wife beater etc Everyone is flawed, no one is perfect so I will keep enjoying the ride and alternate between love and hate for the characters on the show. This week I'm loving Fitz, Olivia, Edison, David & the Gladiators while hating Mellie and Cyrus. So scared for next week's episode...wonder what the game change is :(
