Pilot Scoops: Jason Isaacs to CBS, Jason Ritter to Fox
Jason Isaacs and Jason Ritter are both on their way back to the small screen.
Isaacs (Awake) has nabbed the title role in Surgeon General, a CBS pilot that centers around that important government job. His doctor of John Sherman will battle political and business forces while treating his 315 million patients.
Ritter, meanwhile, beloved for his role as Mark on Parenthood, will take on Gavin in Fox's Friends & Family.
The single-camera comedy is based on a British series and focuses on Ritter's character and Stacey, a woman he initially gets to know well via Skype and Facebook. That role has not yet been cast.

I'm happy for Jason Ritter. It means he won't be back on Parenthood anymore, therefore not have his heart broken by Sarah again.

RIP Marc Cyr! I will miss you!
Well Jason has a chance with CBS! Rather than NBC!
