Peyton List Lands Lead Role on Tomorrow People

Peyton List is on her way to The CW.

The actress will portray Cara on Tomorrow People, a combination of X-Men and Heroes, which will be produced by Julie Plec (The Vampire Diaries) and Greg Berlanti (Arrow) and center on young people around the world who possess superhuman powers.

As reported by Deadline, Cara is described as "trustworthy" and in possession of a great sense of humor. It's unclear at this time just what her unique ability will be.

List has appeared on Mad Men, FlashForward and 90210.

Tomorrow People, meanwhile, is based on a popular British series and will receive strong consideration from The CW for a spot on the fall schedule.
