Grey's Anatomy Round Table: "Hard Bargain"

Welcome back to TV Fanatic's Grey's Anatomy Round Table!

Our Grey's Anatomy review broke down "Hard Bargain" in great detail. Now, TVF's Sean McKenna, Christina Tran and Steve Marsi are back for a Q&A discussion of many of the episode's events.

Read their answers below and weigh in with yours!

1. What was your favorite quote or scene from the episode?

Christina: I liked learning that Ross was responsible for defacing McDreamy's lovely wall decor... and especially that he put him up to it.

Sean: I gotta say the whole defacing was hilarious. That and Derek really getting some conflict in his story line. It's nice to see he's getting more to do these days.

Steve: Clean sweep for the defacing of Derek's face. From the moment he first laid eyes on himself in that way, he was hilariously uncomfortable, and the whole thing just got funnier from there.

2. Did the survivors make the right decision to quit in hopes of buying the hospital?

Christina: Let's hope so! I'm not really sure how else things could have played out. The lawsuit storyline has been dragged out to the extreme.

Sean: I still think the storyline itself has become a little silly, but I do hope that it works in a way that sort of brings everything back to the way it used to be. I guess we'll find out what really changes from their actions.

Steve: Yes. Make it happen, gang. Close the deal and bring back the SG of old.

3. How will Owen and Cristina's relationship change because of the ruined Pegasus deal?

Christina: Ah, Owenstina... they never seem to catch a break. I'm expecting to see them come to a real breaking point. Owen must feel so beat up, but he's got to come around, right?!

Sean: I want these two to survive and come out on top together, but for whatever reason, just when things get good, something bad happens. Does that mean the writers don't want them together? I've got a feeling that it's going to be an uphill battle because Owen will be feeling alone and betrayed after what happened.

Steve: Maybe despite all the setbacks these two have been dealt this will serve as an unexpected turning point for the better? Am I just delusional choosing to hold out hope for that?

4. Is April and Matt's relationship doomed to fail because she didn't tell the whole truth?

Christina: Unfortunately, yes. I actually was hoping she'd 'fess up. Big mistake, April.

Sean: I think these two could work it out, but hiding that one small fact is going to blow up in a huge way. April ruins her own relationships, and this one will be no different. Now it's just a matter of when and how.

Steve: Looks like a classic case of Kepner being Kepner here, sabotaging what could have been a very good thing with an utterly preventable action. One wonders if subconsciously she does this on purpose.

5. Should Jo and Alex remain friends or be something more?

Christina: Something more! Not yet, though. I still think they should remain as friends for just a big longer. It's fun watching them as friends for now.

Sean: If the show does want to eventually bring them together, I'd rather see them as friends a bit longer. There's never a need to rush things and sometimes watching the chase can be far more exciting than when they do actually get together. Let's see where this one goes.

Steve: Sometimes the anticipation is the best part. Maybe someday the evolution of their relationship will dictate that they get together for real, but for now, let's just enjoy the ride - and speculating about it. Isn't that the most fun stage of any TV relationship?

A tooth (plural teeth) is a cheap, calcified, whitish build found in the jaws (or mouths) of multitudinous vertebrates and habituated to to sever down food. Some animals, strikingly carnivores, also exercise teeth in behalf of hunting or in place of defensive purposes. The roots of teeth are covered by means of gums. Teeth are not made of bone, but to a certain extent of multiple tissues of varying density and hardness. The ordinary structure of teeth is similar across the vertebrates, although there is of distinction modulation in their show up and position. The teeth of mammals be struck by esoteric roots, and this pattern is also rest in some fish, and in crocodilians. In most teleost fish, manner, the teeth are spoken for to the outer surface of the bone, while in lizards they are fond of to the inner come up of the jaw during the same side. In cartilaginous fish, such as sharks, the teeth are unavailable beside tough ligaments to the hoops of cartilage that accumulate the jaw.

"Sean: I want these two to survive and come out on top together." ....I read that thing three times before I realized that you weren't saying "come out on top of each other." :-D

1.Derek to Meredith: I could marry you again right now! You're so hot when you're nefarious!
2.It'd be boring to watch the same ops being done and no patient interaction.
Bring back the old SGH.
3.Just a hiccup,Owen won't walk away from Cris completely. No quotes put up for this episode by this site. Shame

1. Survivors in the van and also at MerDer's house when Arizona explained she didn't want to spend all the settlement money and Callie was suggesting even more sources of money to use lol 2. I think they did coz there was no other solution. Will they ever practice medicine again ? 3. Owen's gonna be mad for a while but once he hears the truth, he'll come back to Cristina. 4. Unfortunately Matthew will break up with April and she will run back to Jackson even though they are bad for each other and her story with the paramedic was better ! 5. Something MORE ! Can they just go there already ?

1. Derek's reaction to his picture in the elevator. Followed by the scene with Derek, Shane and Webber about the defacing of the pictures.
2. The doctors had no choice but to quit to buy enough time to orchestrate the purchase of the hospital. But God, please let this storyline end soon. I've been done with it for a while now.
3. Owen feels betrayed by Cristina, again, and hopefully this will pass quickly once he sees why they did it. But seriously, these two have been put through the blender every year since Owen became a part of the gang. This is getting pretty ridiculous too. How about another calm spot for them, growing a relationship and not just good friends with benefits?
4. April/Paramedic - she screwed up by not being honest up front. I don't think he expected her to necessarily be a virgin, but she just lied to him. It'll be dead soon.
5. Alex and Jo - I still see no chemistry between them. The writers are forcing this storyline to give Alex a love interest, but I really don't see it with Jo. Put a pin in it.

1. Best quote: Jo to Alex: "Do you have a blog I could follow?" They're funny together, and I loved their scenes in the NICU.
2. Don't care. Will this idiotic plot EVER end?
3. Cristina/Owen never changes. They're toxic together. Just. Stop. Already.
4. Could not care less. Still can't stand April.
5. I like them as friends, but would like to see Alex with a grown woman who is interested in and cares about him. Alex and Avery are both being dragged down with these juvenile interns. Are there no single adult women in Seattle?

-favourite scene( heartbreaking kind)--OWEN'S face when cristina quits. owen telling cayhill that everybody that he though was in his corner just walked out, and owen shouting cristinas name outside her house in the rain. all these scenes literally broke me -favourite funny scene- MerDer in elevator! -quitting-right decision or not, it was the only, yeah! -owen and cristina will work thsi out in the next episode itself most probly as in the promos he and webber are standing with the plane crash he's a sensible guy,he'll understand that it wasnt a betrayal but a declaration of profound love. -april and matt-doomed.
-alex and jo-acc to the writers it seems meant to be but i still have my reservations. i wanted a stronger woman for alex's happy ending!

best scene, callie's freak out in the van LMAO

really? so many good things happened in this episode and you all agree dereks messed up posters were the best part? WOW

1. Fav: That sinking feeling at the end when the doctors suggested names of their new corporation: "The Bitter Pills"..."Blind Leading the Blind, Incorporated." Expressions and overall physical appearances...priceless.
(May be inappropriate, but I found it hilarious!) Also loved the posters.
2. Quitting? Don't really know, but it DID, fortunately, stop the sale to Pegasus.
3.Owen/Cristina: Expecting it to be really, really tumultuous for a while.
4.April? Doomed.
5.Jo/Alex: Should be strung out, back-and-forth, on/off, definitely-maybe, in typical Grey's style.
