Dexter Casting Calls: What Do They Mean?
With viewers still reeling for the events that concluded Dexter Season 7, we've dug up some potentially major scoop on Dexter Season 8.
Showtime sources confirm to TV Line that two recurring roles are set to be cast, each of which would play a key role in outing Dexter and, now, Deb...
- Dr. Evelyn Vogel, a neuro-psychiatrist in her late 50s who specializes in profiling criminals.
- Jacob Elroy, a cop-turned-private investigator.
It's not hard to imagine how either of these characters could be used to track a certain serial killer and his sister as Dexter heads into its final run of episodes.

Donald Logue would make an excellent Jacob Elroy. Kyra Sedgwyck would make an excellent Dr. Vogel.

My guess is they'll both have to do with LaGuerta's death. The death of a Captain doesn't exactly just end in a closed book manner.
