How I Met Your Mother Season 8 resumes this Monday, as Ray Wise reprises the role of Robin's father, a man none too thrilled that Barney proposed to his daughter without first asking permission.

But - spoiler alert! - it looks as if everything turns out okay for these two, considering Robin is at the center of a major celebration on the January 21 installment, "Ring Up."
