Best episode: the five
worst episode: we all always have burbon street
best character: Klaus
worst character: Matt
Best storyline : the brotherhood of the 5 hunters and the cure
Worst storyline: Sire bond (both Elena and the hybrids)
Biggest waste of time of guest: hayley i agree on that(i would have been April but Memorial was satisfying and she undaggered Rebekah so..)
Hopes: get rid of the sire bond,get delena together,give stefan a hookup,stop eith ''let's kill klaus'',klaroline,focus on the mythology..and more originals!

Biggest waste of a guest star: So far nobody. Shane, April and Hayley are only just getting started and I'm looking forward to where they go next.
Hopes for 2013. Elena fighting with Stefan and Caroline to convince them that she has real (non-sire-bond-y) feelings for Damon. Damon and Elena together in a no-sex-because-you're-sired-but-I-love-you-and-this-is-building-up-the-sexual-tension-nicely kind of way. Rebecca back and more plot for April. Dark Bonnie. More about Silas!

Best Episode: The Killer. Love vamp Elena finally getting her murder on!
Worst Episode: O Come All Ye Faithful. I don't think that really needs an explanation! Though I did like it more 2nd time round.
Best Character: Elena. Ok, so being sired takes away her independence a bit, but I like seeing her stronger, more capable, and forcing her feelings on Damon rather than the other way round.
Worst Character: Bonnie. Those flickering lights were lame girl. But I'm hoping things will pick up for her later in the season as she gets more into this "expression" business.
Best Storyline: Silas and the mysterious need for 12 of everything.
Worst Storyline: I'm actually not going to say the sire bond. Its frustrating but I do understand it as a plot device. What I didn't like was, though I love the Jeremy storyline, him being all mystically convinced not to kill Elena because of something to do with Bonnie? Way too easy and not very convincing.

You want mythology, not romance? This show started off as a show about a girl dating a vampire, with a brother added in there for a love triangle. This show has always been about romance.

It's easy to see why Bonnie would trust shane. Her so called friends don't care about her. She's done everything for them, even when it meant losing her, grandma, her mom, and putting her own life in danger. And what have they done for her? Nothing. They couldn't even be bothered to vist her after she had lost all these people. Shane seems like he is the only one looking out for her physically and emotionally.

-I agree. Memorial was a delight. They FINALLY acknowledged death in a way that has been lacking for a while. That scene with Damon and Alaric was breathtaking.
-err hard to pick one. There were a couple that were lacking.
-Jeremy. The whole hunter thing has been interesting but prior to that he was slowly becoming a strong character. Probably one if the best. The others have been devolving or stagnant.
-Caroline. Its easy to say Bonnie because she's been poorly utilized etc but that's not new. She's been that way a while. Shes been practically non existent for most of the season and fairly tolerable. Caroline however has regressed as a character. She's season1 Caroline. The judgmental, annoying, hyypocrisy thing. She hasn't been pleasant to watch. Its a step back for her.

I think that a 'C' is a fear grade base on the way that this season is moving, As mentiuoned above. I normally go for an 'A' but the last epsiode made me feel like i had no idea what was going on...

This season was kind of a lackluster for me. It started with so much potential: Elena becoming a vampire and finally becoming an interesting character (and not a spineless whining little girl), the Cure, the Five but then it all got so BAD. I think that they are trying to hard and that there are too many storylines and too many cliffchangers and it all got so complicated and weird. I mean there is just too much happening too fast. And of course...the stupid sire bond... I thought that Bonnie is going to be some kick-ass witch but she is simply annoying as always. Also annoying- Caroline and Stefan (he just can't handle rejection...). Overall grade: C (or D as disapointment)
Best Episode: "Memorial."- Loved how every character was involved
Worst Episode: I can't decide either "My Brother's Keeper" or "O Come, All Ye Faithful", MBK because I thought all of the delena love at the end was completely fake and ruined the build up romance between them. OCAYF- It was too confusing, left too many questions unanswered and Damon doing the "right thing"
Best Character: If you discount the episodes with the ridiculous sire bond issues, it would be Damon, through all the episode it would be Elena
Worst Character: I agree that it's Bonnie because She's putting all of her trust into Professor Shane
Best Storyline: Usually I would Delena, but because of this stupid sire bond I would have to agree with it being Jeremy.
Worst Storyline: I agree with it being the sire bond
Biggest Waste of a Guest Star: I agree with it being Phoebe Tonkin, I liked her in the beginning then all of the sudden she just played this huge role in the mid season finale

Best Episode: 4X02... ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
Worst Episode: 4X03 awful, just awful and boring.
Best Character: Elena. I can finally like her. She's less whiny, more strong and confident, i like her.
Worst Character: Bonnie. I couldn't care less about her and she's getting on my nerves everytime i see her. She's too boring.
Worst Storyline: Sire Bond. Just stupid.
Biggest Waste of a Guest Star: Phoebe Tonkin. She's a great actress but i don't feel Haylye so much right now.
Most Impressive Wife-Beater-Wearing Physique: Jeremy Gilbert.
Hopes for 2013: Damon and Elena together, for god sake, just stop!then more action and more about Silas and Shane. I think the plot this year is really good. One thing i want to see is the group work together. The group scenes are the best, i want to see more of it.
Grade - B. Not the best, but good.

The show is getting and getting more ridiculous. Plots that they use and I have the feeling that they don´t know what to do with it in the end.
This plot is used just to prolong the triangle, that´s all and they don´t realised that doing that they damage the show, the characters and relationships in the end.
I love Elena and Damon, but right now I find no reason to watch the show, they are fooling with that relationship, is all that they know fooling and teasing people big time. You tube and happy.
And the saddest thing is reading the producers saying that what we see is not right, they have to explain it¡¡ bad work don´t you think???

I love VD but season 4 hasnt been like the past. I feel like theyre either running out of ideas or is trying too hard. The sire bond between vampires I think is more interesting, considering the circumstances for them to be sired in the first place. Bonnie has to go. Jeremy Im finally staring to like (especially with him in a wife-beater. Klaus and Caroline need together like NOW. Stefan is just mad that Elena wants Damon and not him, sired or not. Im excited for the return Originals will be there and to see where the rest of this season is going.

Waste of a Guest Star - Totally April, at least Haley's been doing things, April has been a total bust as a character so far
Most Impressive Wife-Beater Wearing Physique - Obviously Jeremy, and thankfully the promo suggests that we'll see more of it
Hopes for 2013 - More Hunter Jeremy (in a wife-beater of course), more Klaus being awesomely evil like this last episode, more agency for Elena, Caroline going back to being awesome, and lots of Damon/Jeremy hunter training bonding (you know just put them both in wife-beaters)
Overall Grade - Stuck between a B+ and an A-, but this last episode I think bumps it to an A-

Best Episode - Tie between Memorial (thrilling episode plus an awesome ending with Alaric) and O Come, All Ye Faithful (exciting, answered some big questions, Jeremy in a wife-beater, Klaus's killing set to XMas music)
Worst Episode - We'll Always Have Bourbon Street, mostly boring flashbacks and some of the best characters and arcs of the season (Jeremy and Klaus) weren't involved
Best Character - Jeremy as he's at the center of the best arc of the season and those moments when he was in hunter-mode were awesome
Worst Character - Bonnie as she seems to always be, I just don't think the character can be helped from being terrible. Caroline is much to my surprise close given how annoying and hypocritical she's been of late.
Best Storyline - Jeremy and the whole Hunter thing, interesting and exciting and has really elevated the second half of the season so far
Worst Storyline - Bonnie "losing her powers" meeting the Professor blah blah blah

D.. so far I dont like season 4... I want Stelena back.. I used to like Elena but now i kinda hate her.. how can she break up with stefan and then a minute later sleep with his brother??!! I cant understand her... she's crazy... The only thing that I like from season 4 is the Steroline relationship... Stefan needs Caroline by his side because she is the only one person he can trust and he needs her frendship..!!
1.The Five. I really enjoyed the Klaus/Stefan/Rebekah scenes and the flashback ofcourse,I'm a sucker for the flashback.And yeah the Stebekah scene.

Best episode - Elena loses her mind
Worst Episode - Midseason finale. There seriously needs to be explanations on why these characters do the tings they do
Best character - Elena. She just needs to accept the fact she's a vampire and embrace it.
Worst character - Stefan. Now that Elena can fend for herself and wants passion, his boring ass self doesn't know what to do with himself anymore but try and FORCE Elena to being human again, and manipulating Damon
Best storyline - Elena\s transition
Worst SL - Klaus and Stefan working together to find this cure
Get rid of Stefan please

Best Episode - Memorial for sure - that scene in the church reminded me of awesome the show used to be.
Worst Episode - the last one - much ado about nothing and DE is getting boring already.
Best Character - Klaus because the rest are just ridiculous kids
Worst - Elena, sorry but what was a promising start turned out to be Elena only concerned about her love life and barely paying any attention to her friends or Jeremy until someone tells her whats going on.

Guest star - all of them are under used because we are too busy watching the Delena diaries
Wearing wife-beaters - did you miss Stefan doing push ups?
Hopes - that the show shifts the focus from Delena's bed scenes to an actual plot.
Damon: She's strong and crafty and you'll die. Elena: At least I'll die trying.
