The brothers may be co-dependent but that doesn't mean it's healthy and something that should remain that way. If you were a real Dean and Sam fan you'd want them to have healthy, balanced relationship with each other and the rest of the world. Wanting them to remain together like two traumatized kids means that YOU have an unhealthy codependency to the idea that Dean and Sam should remain stuck in the early years. They have grown up! Time you accept that. Very happy that Carver gets that.

All I see are Wincest / "Brotherly bond" fans hammering about dirty Destiel shippers starting wank (which they didn't), talking about some leader, seeing conspiracy in everything. WTH?
Watch the show however you want, just don't shove your opinions down other people's throats. And believe me, from what I've seen, it's two or three people at the most writing exactly the same shit for the last 5 pages of comments.

For those interested, I'm 17 years old. It's funny when people insult us Destiel shippers are being "brats" or "tweens with nothing better to do" yet you SPN_Gossip tin hats are in your 30s/40s! I attended my first convention this year and met a lot of hardcore J2 fans who had that tin hat mentality and all were old, old women who didn't seem to have any life outside of J2 and this belief that J2 were secretly together even though Jared in that con actually brought Gen and Thomas with him.

If Jensne was in support of Destiel, then I might try to ease in to something happening, but seaosn 8 is already half way over, 5 episodes without Cas in there. Season 9 and 10 in which Misha own't be in all the episodes there either. It's about the friendship and relationship but mostly it's about fighting evil and discovering one's self. It's not even about romance. Not really. Even past relationships with women were never about romance. Jensen isn't in support so I am not in support. Come back to me and have this discussion when something more then Misha trolling comes up.

I never said Dean doesn't like girls or is pretending to like girls. Bisexuality is a thing that exists and Dean's sexuality has been questioned in the show since season 1.
And no, I won't keep my mouth shut and hide online. I believe Destiel is a valid interpretation of the canon. You don't have to agree, of course. But you don't get to tell me what the show is about, because it's not the same to everyone. To some people, it's about monsters. To others, about the brothers. To others, about family. To me? It's about all this and more, and it happens to include two characters (Dean and Cas) that I believe happen to be in love. Why people think wanting the show to include a romance means we want the show to be all about a romance? This is not what we want.

I go by what teh cast have said. And Jensen hold to his breath the show is not about Destiel. If Destiel were to happen, they all know that the fanndom is split on that. They would have said something, Jensen in particular. But silence. Just deaf silence. Maybe your trending Destiel or giving an actor a Destiel book is your hope to Get Destiel, but it will just make you guys look silly.

Both ships - Guess what, THE SHIP ISN'T ALWAYS ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS THAT GO BEYOND THE BOUNDARIES OF FRIENDSHIP OR BROTHERHOOD! This is probably my biggest complaint with them. All Wincester shippers are assumed to be into Sam and Dean screwing each other. All Destiel shippers are assumed to be into Dean and Cas screwing each other. Uh, no. NOT TRUE. Maybe it's because these "extreme" shippers are the loudest, I don't know, but they are not the only ones. It isn't 100% about the physical. It can be about the emotional aspect too.
As for me, I'm just going to be content with having Team Free Will. Everyone else, have a good day.

Wincest Shippers - It's all about the brothers? No, it isn't. A story that's 8 seasons long can not build without other characters and other relationships. It's not just about the brothers. It's about FAMILY. Sorry, I don't know what your definition of family is, but in this show at least, family does not end in blood, and Sam and Dean have managed to pick up a few more members along the way. I don't think I need to mention who. Sam and Dean have already said this through their own words.
Destiel Shippers - Dean and Cas need to get together already? Look, as a Destiel shipper, I personally don't see that happening on screen, and if it does, not for a good while longer. Yes, I do see a possible relationship, and yes I do ship Destiel as a bromance that could be something more, but please don't try and push for so

Do you see me complaining that you don't ship because this stops the network from going all the way with Dean and Cas's relationship? No, you don't. Because I don't think my wishes matter more than yours, but you somehow think your wishes are the one that matter the most because of some sense of superiority a lot of non-shippers have.

Oooh I see the wank has already started. I'm not much for shipping, but I'd take Destiel over Wincest any time. As someone down wrote, Wincest promotes codependency, pedophilia, incest and most importantly emotional neglect for Dean. With Castiel is at least normal kind of love, platonic or not.

The cast does laugh at that list. Except for the codependency that is canon and is real. Which given how they grew up it's only natural. I don't get why every male and male character together have to be shipped, especially when they are brothers. I think wincest, though I think some use the word wincest to use as it being about their bond, but *shivers* I am more about their bond and relationship. Time to stop talking about shipping in general. Let's not mention Destiel again *shivers* and just talk about how Carver is going to address all of our questions. I am skeptical about that man, can't wait to see what else he brings to the table

@ale ship it, even though I have no idea where you even get that idea but Dean has been shown to like girls and yes there are people out there bearding and all that but this is what it is and if its something you like then keep it in the online fandom and stop making it to be canon and bring it to cons and involve the people in the show.
Its not what the show is about in canon and never will be purely because its not a show about sexual relationships or romances not because we must hate the gay/bi's.
