Sean only gives this season a B so far? Wow. I give it an A. I agree that 'Bitten' was the worst episode.
Help!

Jack, how about Carver writing a strong will female hunter? I think you're pretending to be a guy, BTW, and you're really a so-called "good fan."
Amelia is boring, bland, bitchy. Sam/Amelia is nothing but a soap. Carver has spent so much time on that soap opera, that I've forgotten about the myth-arc. What was it again? Oh, yeah, the tablets. Pity I can't drum up any interest in Kevin and his mom. Irritating pair.
For the love of God, stop praising Carver. He is as bad as Sera Gamble. Wish he'd stayed with Being Human. He's turning Supernatural into Super Soap. This season sucks. Minus minus Z from me.

All SPN girls are bitchy! Especially Ruby and Bela! Even Jo sometimes! So don't come with that CRAP..you just one two men and an angel. Amelia reminded me that Sam isn't gay...

Samelia is killing the show. Supernatural should be about the Supernatural. Two brothers hunting things, saving people.
What makes it worse, however, is Amelia is such a badly written character. She is unlikeable and nasty. Why is she there, anyway? It's Supernatural not a daytime soap.
And dont you DARE give me that crap about female fans hating female characters! Write a strong woman (not a bitchy one) and we'll like her. But no romance or soap. Carver gets a -Z rating from me. This season is poor, very, very poor. Boring.

Sean, are you gay or something? I love Supernatural, but I was bit tired of watching only men on screen. When I knew about Amelia I was like "Thank God, about damn time! A girl on the cast!" Unfortunately Kripke and Gamble had this obsession with killing off all the women on the show...I hope Carver let her live, which is pretty unlikely..

Please..."Worst Character"...Amelia. She's not bad, I like her. She's very interesting. The thing is that we've seen her several times, although Carver hasn't reveal much about her either. I'll wait before judging. Unfortunately Supernatural fans usually don't do that.

I LOVE SEASON 8! I'm so happy Cas is back, he's my favorite, Cas and Dean. I love Sam and I don't want him to lose Amelia ugh. I want to see more of them, together. I can't wait for 8x10.

I'm going to sound like a parrot here, Matt. In complete agreement with your best and worst episodes. As for the newish characters (since Kevin was introduced last season), I agree that Ty Olssen's talent has made Benny a standout, but I have no idea where they plan to go with him. As for the worst, from what we have seen to this point, Amelia isn't coming across as well as I hoped. Perhaps this will change in the coming episodes?
Also, I adored Cas in Hunteri Heroici even beyond the cat scene. He was gold!
Finally, I hoping to see an interesting tablet-angel storyline unfold and more Cas interactions with angels, Crowley, and Dean and Sam. I'm a tentative SPN fan at best. My continued viewing very much depends on how Cas is utilized.

Amelia is back with her hot hero hubby as it should be. Benny (best new character ever) is going deep for a while but I love him and Dean. Guess we'll be getting back to the Prophet/king of Hell sl soon.

Since I was cut off . . .guess I went over the limit. . . My last line should read "As for Benny, I do hope they don't try to replace Castiel with Benny. If that happens, they're going to be replacing a viewer, too. I love Dean and Sam, but SPN now, to me, is Team Free Will. :-)

In all honesty, I'm not wild about Benny. Although Ty is a good actor, I'm TIRED of vampires and vampire story lines invading every paranormal television show on the planet! Not all of us like vampires and, quite frankly, I prefer the Dean and Castiel friendship and don't want it pushed aside for Benny! I would prefer the series get back to Team Free Will (Dean/Cas/Sam) and the search for the Word of God, angels, and demons story line. I do agree with you concerning Amelia. This is the most BORING story line in history. Plus, it doesn't help that there doesn't seem to be any chemistry between Jared and the actress who plays Amelia. The cat 'interrogation' was hilarious; the "dumbass" had me rolling on the floor! The excellent Dean and Castiel story line this season is enough to make me give it an A. However, I hope they ditch the Amelia/Sam story line quickly in 2013. As for Benny, I do hope they don't try to replace Castiel with Benny. If that happens, they're going to be repla

the more worthwhile. The idea of demons, wraiths, golems and even Lucifer himself shows everything in one series you could never ever see anywhere else.
Even though I am not religious it does follow steps from how the bible is written and I find it so intriguing how it is managed. I despise reality shows and am fed up with garbage tv and this is the best series I have ever seen. BTW, I am an older female and I will be watching this as long as it's alive and well.

I caught this show by accident on TNT and I fell in love with it. I am a horror buff but it must have good plots and this show fits everything I missed in my life. It's scary, funny as heck at times and gives me the willies at different times. I give this series an A.
I watched the 1st through the 5th series and am catching some of 8 but need to finish up on the 6th and 7th. I had to search for CW through the the CW site and it says it's on according to my channels on CW channel 18 but when I tuned in on Wednesday I saw none of the flicks. I do however watch every episode like clockwork on TNT from 8 to 10 am every morning. They show two episodes.
I hope they let this run for a good 15 to 20+ years. I want to see everything on how it pans out. I missed the episodes about purgatory and a few others but I am going to catch up on everything. Sam, Dean, Castiel and Bobby really make this worthwhile and adding Benny is a nice touch. A new character here and there makes this show all

I actually thought Bitten was a good episode. However, I do agree about Amelia's character. Complete and total waste of screen time.

I was without hope after the past two years but here I am enjoying the current episode and looking forward to next week (or next year). This show depends so much on us believing the monsters and the brothers ability to stop them. This season has restored my belief. Glad I stuck with you and kudos to the new writers. Of course. jerod and Jenson, no matter the material, really give it their all thanks.
