Robert Patrick Promoted to Series Regular on True Blood
It looks like True Blood Season 6 will continue to delve into the family of Alcide Herveaux.
Robert Patrick - who debuted on True Blood Season 5 and will soon be coming off the short-lived Last Resort on ABC - has been upgraded to series regular by HBO. Deadline has confirmed the veteran actor will reprise the role of Alcide's father this summer.
Patrick appeared in three episodes last year, culminating his arc in a father/son reunion that saw the werewolves work together and establish Alcide as the leader of his pack.
Forever known for his role in Terminator 2, Patrick will next be seen on the big screen on Gangster Squad.
