Dan being GG makes sense? Lolwhat? Are you kidding me? It makes NO sense! Especially if you look back at the show! They pulled this out of their a-holes. But hey, it's Gossip Girl, so eff logic, right?

i always thought is was Dorota is GG, wth DAn humprey the whiney hair loser!!!!but is very logic dat he is GG becoz the main target is always Serena.,CHAIR FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!love chuck,so handsome after five years too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but hate lily,william,rufus!!!!!!THEY SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!seriously!love georgina sparks and uncle jack too!!!!! overall love the ending too although it was a little lame.
@ Fernanda: they kissed, but then turned to their respective couples and the producers confirmed they weren't together. @ nisaliciousz: what I understood is that Jenny had known for a while, but that doesn't mean she knew from the beginning.

I think it's one of my fave GG episode (Besides Victor Vitrola, Age of Dissonance & G.G.).
LOVES:
- JXB the hot uncle.
- Jack & Georgina. I wish they met sooner. They could be as dysfunctional (in a good way) as Chair.
- Dan is GG. Of course, it all makes perfect sense, since the first target is SVDW. There are few loopholes like in Season 1 when Jenny asked "since when did you read Gossip Girl?", Dan said "Since you're in it" - That convo doesn't make any sense if Jenny knew it was Dan all along. And they were in the loft, so why would pretend ? Other than that, it all makes sense.
- Henry's purple bow tie.
- Appearances of Eric, Jenny, Agnes & vanessa. They remind me the old GG when everything was so fun. The pact with god thing almost ruined this show.
- Nate is single. GREAT! If not with Serena, he should be with me. Wait for me Nate.. wait there..
- Kristen Bell's wink. I love love love her.
- Rufus & Lisa Loeb (correct?!).
- Blair's dress at S's wedd

i think the finale was a great one couldnt ask for anything more...... the coupling was prefect glad nate did end up with young sage in the flash back. lol and the reveal of gossip girl was surprising but it made sense and that made evrything gel in for me! i love these characters i'm going to miss gossip girl dearlyyyyyyy!! :) mondayz wouldnt be the same. thanks to josh and stephanie for a great show!

I was really disappointed by this finale. I really expected it to be 2 hours so the show could really tie up any loose ends...unfortunately the 1st hour was wasted w/cast member interviews! I mean, can't those just be on the DVD?? However, I am glad Blair and Chuck got hitched...they both looked great! Not surprised by Serena and Dan...I always thought they belonged together and its obvious out of all the guys she has dated he is the one she cared for most. However, DONT like how they tied up the William/Ivy sl...loved how he said she was nothing but a Lifetime "I dont care about Ivy" movie or something like that! I don't like the brief cameos and most of all DONT believe Dan as GG. SMH...

well for me rufly got the open ending. i ignore everything what there happened after the rufly kiss.. so there is no william and no lisa. so its fine.
i would never accept lily and creeper. and i saw no chemistry by them. i saw only couple chemistry by rufly in this kiss scene. so i stay by this. (Open ending)

KB OMG Dan GG great scene.Jenny still got the racoon look.
The steps scene was good.Overall a reasonable finale.

All this time waiting for nothing I wanted Serenate! what happened with "Serena and Nate´s dynamic was what set the whole story into motion"? I really thought they were going to end it with them as well, the worst part for me was how she still married Dan knowing he was Gossip Girl! so sad....

Defo One of the worst endings to a show which as been so great. So many twists and turns, but this ending seems like they wrapped it up very quickly. As a viewer im sitting with a very sad feeling, actually bummed quite out having spent so much time on a show with such a bad roundoff ending.
Fact is, it was obvious they would put Dan as GG in the end. The build-up was easy to spot, and that made it even worse. I've always been a fan of Josh Schwartz, but this is defo one of the worst endings of a series i've ever seen.

My sister always said it was Dan, but I didn't thunk so, I thought it would end up being a character always on the fringes or something. Now it's over I kind of wish they never revealed who Gossip Girl was. There would have been something more bitter sweet with the characters realising on their own the blog didn't matter and growing up or with GG closing her site forever. I'm glad Chair and Sedan ended up together and I love that for once Nate is standing on his own feet. One pairing I didn't like was William and Lily, I would have preferred her to be independent. Even though the writing got pretty bad after season 2 I'll miss GG, it will always be the show that introduced me to epic love and New York city...
@ Loeb: As per Savage E! online interview, they pretty much decided from the start it would be Dan. It's a bit of an open answer that she gives, because she says "we never really entertained any other ideas of who GG was", but I guess this mean someone (in the writing staff, perhaps?) entertained other ideas. She tells an anecdote of that famous shot of Dan in from of a laptop watching the GG site with the GG voiceover in the background, as per her they had to re-edit that because the focus group totally guessed Dan was GG.
From E! online: Savage mentioned that Bart was psychotic, at least the writers were aware of this.
Someone in the NY magazine recap had said Vanessa's kitchen looked like one from the 70's. Savage said it is the kitchen set for the Carrie Diaries and it's the 80's.
Apparently the DS wedding should have been leaked, but it was, which kinda amusses me, because it shows how sucky they were at hidding certain things, although I agree with her that they did pull out to keep the cameos a secret.
In the NY magazine recap people were wondering about Serena's career. Based on Savage response, it looks she ends up like Lily, a socialite. It sucks, she could have been a writer or have a movie career, the show hinted at that more than once.

Well the fact that Dan was Gossip Girl might have worked if they had planned it from the beginning and let Penn Badgley in it. But like this they did this last minute and with full of plot holes. Sorry the revelation didn't really hooked me up. Dan sounds more like a creepy stalker than a boy falling in love with a girl and try to get into her wolrd in order to be with her.
Serena: Congratulations, you've officially joined the dark side.
