Imagine yourself with the most evil person in the whole world. He is about to dad, crying for help, would you help him? I know I would, because no matter what he is a freakin human being and you are just as worst if you are not helping this person.

If Chuck had saved Bart or tried to pull him up Bart would've told him he failed the last test before pulling him down with him

This episode got the best reviews of the season and the fans are divided. Go figure. The film noir music while out of place is a Chuck and Blair staple they love old movies it wasn't the Star Wars theme it's mostly likely the dramatic score from an old Hepburn or Hitchcock film. As for Chuck's decision to let Bart fall after everything Bart has said and done Chuck was justified in not helping him to give him a hand because Bart would've taken Chuck with him

@puppybunny1 Yep, I agree with you too. For a moment, I thought Chuck was gonna grab Bart's hand, and when he didn't, it was kind of a letdown. To me, by killing him, the writers took the easy way out, instead of making C&B having to deal with it in a more "adult" way, like they had been doing up until that moment (which would also had proven that Chuck was more of a man than Bart would ever be, especially after his "being a man" speech).

Chuck could have had another cell phone hide in his pocket to take Bart's confession, Lonely boy could have written a Bart's profile that spell everything, Chuck could have had proof of his father trying to kill him (what about the pilot?) or even the father of princess something could have had microfilm of his own... it's even bad tv show not to have one character like Lily not doing copy of the microfilm (or even Ivy)think about it, Lily is all about leverage and she doesn't think of doing a copy and just throw it? that story-line was lame from this point.

@Em I agree with everything you said! The music in that last scene was ridiculous. I know it's an "homage" to some films the show has been making reference to since day 1, but still.

The rest of the episode was great! I've always rooted for Derena, but I, too, had been wondering if there was a way for them to finally get back together after everything they've been through. It turns out I enjoyed Dan's awful actions being a wake-up call for Serena, and for himself, too. They somehow triggered a much-needed character development.

As for Chair, they're always amazing together. Their scheming has got too far, but then again it is what brought them together in the first place, so it's nice to see it ending the same way it started.

I remember reading somewhere that before airing the last episode, a "behind the scenes" special would air. Does anyone know if that's still happening?

I agree with Z. I am disappointed that Chuck/Blair let Bart die. Chuck just proved that he is just as bad as Bart.
