One word: LAMEEEEE!!! The sire thing makes no sense, why would they do that to a scene Delena fans had been waiting for since season one? She gave Stefan a fair chance, and should give Damon a fair chance too without all this sire nonsense! Ugh. I am SO disappointed by this episode that I actually don't want to watch the show anymore, and that is saying something because I am a HUGE fan of this show. Bottom line: sire bond = worst idea the writers ever had.
AND..whats up with Jeremy all of a sudden trying to kill Elena? That was lame too. They need to fix the storylines here, otherwise as sad as I am to say it, this show is going to go downhill.

It looks as though next episode is going with this sire stuff. I can't believe after watching this show for years, TVD ruins the love scene with this sire bull and ruins it with Caroline and Stephan talking in between. I am so irritated at the terrible writing of this part, when thousands of ppl having waited years, faithfully. And then, Julie, you slam us down in a terribly insulting way. For me, I seriously just start watching something else!!!!!!!

This was really stupid!
I was so excited about Elena finally confessing that she
Has changed and so has her feeling for Damon as they are now intensified. When Damon and Elena were in the middle of kissing making love scene I was so excited that it was FINALLY happening. To find out that none of it is real,
It disappointed, it angered me. Why can't the writers just let damon and Elena happen without a stupid reason except the fact that Damon loves Elena no matter what she is and Elena really does have feelings for Damon.
NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS. If the writers don't get their head straight no one will be watching this and the show will be cancelled all because they let down DELENA fans. So disappointing.

Question for those writing comments saying "Stephan will always be the EPIC true love for Elena". Okay. Is that why he allowed her to drown in the first place? Really? Just think about it? If it was someone you truly loved (Like husband/wife/fiance/family or whoever)- if you had to chose, wouldn't you save your love first, even if they did point to save the other person (as Elena did with Matt). Seriously?? It makes no sense to me. Even if my daughter said "please, don't save me first", do you think I would listen at that point, just to "respect" her? Come on!! That's just dumb!!

I was so disappointed with this episode!! When that sire business with DE was spoken, it just ruined what could have been poetic!! What in the world, Julie Plec and TVD? You have been telling fans forever now that we will see some Delana stuff, but to even insinuate that it could all possibly be because of some "magical wisk", (and not what their characters have been working towards), truly was RIDICULOUS!!! It was like, "Oh, here we go again!" The writers took a loving moment, and really botched it up!! Why? It was so stupid, and irritating. Sometimes a beautiful dance is a passionate one; not always about tricks! Why would you insult those who have been watching every season!! Terrible ending. ATROCIOUS! It was not witty; it was lame

I honestly find this ridiculous, I'm a Stefan and Elena fan but how can delena fans be happy.. She didn't dump stefan, he did and rightly soooo.. But if he hadn't would she off.. The fact that in first episode she's gone from yay Stefan we can be together forever.. To 8 episodes later banging his brother? And in the episode she said she still loves him lol.. I don't see how Stefan can take her back now and how can she get away with this.. And Damon.. Acting all nice lets go for a drink and talk hours later having sex.. It's just ridiculous they could of waited and did it in a more respectful way

Well, I adore this episode it was awesome. :)
1/ Love Caroline and Stefan friendship moment (I Don't care about their opinions plus I didn't expect Damon and Elena's relationship to be accepted by everyone.) and her scene with Klaus (I love her with Tyler but it was amusing to see her with Klaus).
2/ I really want to know what this Professor Shane is up to: he need a which (Bonnie), a hunter to get the map and now we can add him working with Hayley and for reason that I don't now about it yet he needs hybrids that they've broke their sire bond.

Disagree! I find the triangle the most interesting part of tvd.
However, I am a 'Delena Forever' person so I do agree with the last part:

It's totally true! I've been waiting for this to happen, and when it did, its 'cause of some stupid sire bond! I was so excited when Damon and Elena were dancing and then they started kissing but when Stefan and Caroline were talking 'bout the sire bond, I was really dissapointed! Now Stefan will probably want to break the bond which will make Elena love Stefan more and so she will break up with Damon and go back to Stefan. Agghrrrrrrrr. Elena should end up with Damon! Yeah, not a fan of this episode either. This is coming from someone who likes DE. A day after Elena breaks up with Stefan she gets with Damon? Yeah, I'm happy to see they finally stopped teasing, but it didn't have to be like THAT. And the sire thing is such a cop out and lame. Why can't they just show that Damon loves who she is no matter what whereas Stefan doesn't? Why do this whole sire thing? I didn't see any Tyler and Klaus action though, and it's not like Damon made her, so I hope Caroline's theory's wrong. Plus didn't she try drinking from Damon's "vein" and it didn't work? I can't remember. But yay to DE and the end of SE.

PLUS !!!! If this sired thing was real, then Klaus would "turn off" the love tyler feel for caroline when he was still bonded to him! THEN stefan would have love katherine because she turn him! but otherwise she had to compleled him most of the times she wanted to be with him back in 1864 (?) ... Ok so JULIE PLEC please stop creating things that wouldn't make sense, and let us Delena fans be happy for once!

i hate this plot twist. we as delena fans have been waiting for this for 3 years and now we can't even enjoy it! i love all the storylines right now and all the new characters, but if at the end this delena thing turns out to be because of a sire bond the show will loose a lot of fans. it's a lame lame move from the writers. i mean WHY can't they just let Delena be, why? we all know the true love story in the show is them anyway and not Stelena. i completely agree with the author of this article

Sired huh? Well it could be true...though when she drank his blood, she puked it out, so she can't stand his either. BUT, hey, don't ruin the moment loooooool. Anyways, no suprise there when she-wolf turned out to be the Professor's accomplice ! Also, can't hide the fact that I'm happy DElena finally went at it ! YAY !!! Stefan, what did you do ! Now Jer is like a monster, just like the vamps lol. April looked sooooo beautiful !!!! Klaroline had me wishing for more ! She can't deny it anymore, they have a connection !
Downside, this DAMN love triangle ! Please MAKE HER CHOOSE for pete's sake ! I've been annoyed for a while, now, even more !

I like the Twist and hate the number of stars U gave! Just had time to watch the episode. and it was so amazingly written so believable.
Damon and Elena - I never said there isn't chemistry but he is the thing U want cause U can't have it! HE is so out of balance and so strangely strong but we all know where her heart lies. One thing is passion but really love and connection is Stephan.
Elena and Jeremy - Oh my Jer can act! It's a real big shame that he was so neglected during the show. Forgot he knows to act! Really enjoyed him trying to kill Elena!
Caroline and Stephan - they are so great together. Love their interactions, their conversations!

Everyone can complain and moan all he wants,it doesn´t change how JP writes/will write. I think it´s the reverse of season 3. Elena was fighting to get Stefan back from Klaus and the ripper road (mentally and physically),she didn´t give up on him. Now it´s up to Stefan to bring her back from Damon and this sire bond. I have the impression in episode 3x19 JP spoke through Rose to the Stelena audience to make things clear. This time Caroline is her voice (speaking to the Delena audience),she don´t let Caroline use words like "you can´t give up on her","epic" or "soulmate" without a reason.

I don't understand the sire thing at all! Why isn't Caroline Damon and Stefan sired to Katherine? She turned them?? Please explain writers? Is Elena different because she's a doppleganger? I think this whole plot twist is silly and I hope the whole sire conspiracy is proven false. Stefan had his chances with Elena and blew them. Let her experience things with Damon...

Yeah I agree Sarah -"from the beginning, i didn't like the whole love triangle because as gorgeous as damon is- i can't deny the fact that lusting over his brother's girlfriend is plain out horrible". I know logic gets thrown out the window with this show but sex definitely changes everything and two brothers having a woman go back and forth between them. I can't. So, I don't really know what to make of the three main characters anymore. There's a lot of viewers that cheer on Damon and Elena being together and find reasoning behind every move so maybe that would be the safe bet for the shows longevity. I honestly loved the relationship between Elena and Stefan but yeah... we'll see what happens with the show I suppose. 0_o

I, like many others have been WAITING for more than THREE years for this moment and then Julie Plec has to make this ridiculous twist so that she can keep the hopes up for Stefan and another reason for Elena to run off to him. Well, TYLER is also sired to Klaus. Does this make him LOVE KLAUS? No. Damon didn't tell Elena to break up with Stefan, he didn't tell her to trust him, or to go to him. Nothing. If the fate for Elena is to be with the same old, boring, brooding, insecure, unattractive, yet moral and so noble(post ripper) Stefan, then Plec shouldn't give us any hopes and please get Damon and Rebecca together- they're both starved for love and are driven by emotion.
On the other hand, this was a really gripping episode. Love the way Jeremy now has a major role and how it may affect his ties with everyone now. April does seem to be a potential and Haylee is another interesting character.

I watch TVD religiously and have spent three years trying to fathom what Elena could possibly find attractive about Stefan. He's whiny, moody and so vanilla he's boring. She has obvious chemistry with Damon, who loves her no matter what she does or is, and they go and ruin it (and Elena's one moment of actually being a strong female character) by making her a victim of siring!?! The only thing that can redeem this is if they break the sire bond (or prove it doesn't exist) and she chooses Damon. I wish Jeremy had staked Stefan in the back after he knocked him down with the stake to the front. It A)would have made more sense than him walking past a wounded vampire if he's truly so crazy about killing them now, and B) would have made drawing this stupid, implausible triangle out any further. And for those of you who think Damon's done terrible things to Elena that she should never forgive, how is Elena ever supposed to forgive Stefan for pushing her brother further down the dissociat
Damon: She's strong and crafty and you'll die. Elena: At least I'll die trying.
