Gossip Girl Sneak Peek: The Two Blair Waldorfs

by at . Comments

Blair certainly made a fashion splash this week, for better or worse. In this sneak peek from next Monday's Gossip Girl, the younger Waldorf hears about it from Eleanor regarding the disaster that was Cotillion.

As Eleanor sees it, there are two Blairs, and one of them has got to go:

In "Where the Vile Things Are," B braces herself for her mom's imminent arrival, as teased at the end of "Monstrous Ball," but is unprepared for the demands - and tone - Eleanor brings with her to NYC.

Will Blair's dark, scheming, sexually deviant side win out? Or will the intelligent, upstanding, business savvy woman within her triumph, as her mom demands if she is to be the CEO of a major corporation?

Can the two sides of Blair really be separated? Food for thought.

As we were reminded again this week, her future with Chuck may depend on her success with Waldorf Designs. Share your thoughts on the above clip and predictions for Monday's episode with us below.

I'm also aware of the fact that all of these "excuses" may be annoying, but I'd rather wait and enjoy a wonderful finale with the two of them happily married, than see them together now and maybe get a low-profile finale... after all as someone said "Waiting for pleasure, isn't the pleasure itself?" (I'm sorry if it's badly translated, but I don't even remember that quote quite well in Italian...) Ok, my rant is over. Lol.

@b, actually we are in two. I think that it's the only way this relationship could fully work. Not because they don't want to or they aren't unable to achieve their goals and be together at the same time, but because they have really complex and sort of dark characters. They were brought up thinking that success is all that matters (especially Chuck), and love or a family comes second, so that's why they want to be alone during this process. Furthermore, when they were together they always gave up on something career-wise, and they want to be sure that they won't regret anything or let these regrets hold them back. I mean, they don't want to think "ah, if only I didn't give up on that just because we were in a relationship" or something like that. I know that someone could actually say: "if they are unable to do that then it means that they aren't meant to be", but I think that it's not true, simply because of their characters and the other stuff I said. I'm also aware of the fact that all of these "excuses" may be annoying, but I'd rather wait and enjoy a wonderful finale with the two of them happily married, than see them together now and maybe get a low-profile finale... after all as someone said "Waiting for pleasure, isn't the pleasure itself?" Am I the only one who thinks Blair and Chuck's pact makes sense for the characters. Both Blair and Chuck want to known as more than the others significant other it was one of the main obstacles they've faced as a couple so having them wait while trying to accomplish their goals before being together is consistent with the desires of the characters

@chie, @Eli15, That ship was sunk forever, get over it and move on! Also, Blair continues with Chuck, such as the Dan continues with Serena! Accept it already and move on!

blair need to end up with dan!!! The relationship with chuck is turn predictible and sooooo boring..

Nah she would rather be alone than with dumpty

I hope blair end up with dan. chuck and blair can't be together it's long been issue since season 2. blair needs to move on.

I never thought I would say this but I can't wait for GG to be over. This season has been a major let down so far. It is boring. The characters all seem to be stuck. My fav. couple of C & B keep on doing this stupid dance where they can't be together cause of some stupid reason. This has always been the excuse since Season 2 for them not to be together. They are always putting their abitions before love. Which makes no sense. They just need to get together and stay together. Serena needs to be with Nate. Dan needs to end up alone just like the show started or with Vannesa if they bring her back.

hum...for some reasons this makes me think of Dan vs Chuck. Who brings the crazy bitch in Blair...Oh you know who and you all cherish him.

Crazy incident = somebody will fall off a roof just like lydia. Seems obvious since this roof thing has been a recurring theme through gg, at least with chuck.
