CSI Crossover Confirmed for February Sweeps
CBS is planning another crossover for February Sweeps.
Following last season's merging of NCIS: LA crossover with Hawaii Five-0, the network has confirmed that Detective Mac Taylor of CSI: NY will jet over to Las Vegas this winter and meet up on a case with Ted Danson's D.B. Russell.

The event will kick off on February 6, as the original CSI airs an episode that features Gary Sinise's character arriving in Sin City to surprise his girlfriend… only to learn she's gone missing. He teams up with Russell to find her.
Two days later, Russell will touch down in The Big Apple in order to continue the investigation, as "case gets personal for Taylor," according to the official CBS synopsis. He ends up "breaking police protocol in an effort to find the kidnappers.”

I like crossover... But a personal case for Mac? Again? I'm getting tired of CSI:NY being the Mac Taylor show sometimes, let the others shine a little.
(Or let Mac shine less or something)
And as a die-hard Criminal Minds fan I would have preferred a CM/CSI crossover, but that's probably just a fan's unrealistic dream...

I hope you saw the CSI:NY episode "Late Admissions" on Nov. 17. Watching Lindsay deal the cafe killer taking the "Big Sleep" in the Death House of that Montana prison made for the best episode of any show so far this fall. A very rare case of seeing someone get real closure.
