Angus T. Jones Apologizes for Two and a Half Men Slam
Matt Richenthal at .Angus T. Jones has spoken out for the first time since slamming the sitcom on which he stars and labeling it as "filth."
In a statement, the Two and a Half Men star acknowledged he can't touch on "every misstatement or misunderstanding," from his long religious testimony that went viral this week, but he did issue an apology:
"Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on Two and a Half Men whom I have worked and over the past ten years who have become an extension of my family. Chuck Lorre, Peter Roth and many others at Warner Bros. and CBS are responsible for what has been one of the most significant experiences in my life to date."
Jones went on to thank the cast and crew for their "support, guidance and love over the years," concluding:
"I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that."
Jones does not appear on either of the next pair of new Two and a Half Men episodes and no one associated with the series has commented yet on his recent rant.
