The Big Bang Theory Review: Girls vs. Guys Game Night FTW

at . Comments

The Big Bang Theory was awesome tonight! The season started a bit weak in the laughs, but tonight's episode made up for it. It was comedic platinum.

"The Re-Entry Minimization" was by far one of the funniest episodes in a long time. Howard's return from space had some great moments, but it was the girls vs. guys game night that had me in non-stop chuckles.

A Messy Battle

I actually laughed so loud after Sheldon went up to the flip chart to do long division that I thought my neighbors would hear me and think I'd lost my mind. It was a pleasant turning of the tables with the girls, especially Penny, being better than the intellectual guys.

The show returned to what it does best -- putting the characters in real-life situations and just letting them be themselves. No relationship issues, no contrived drama, just funny situations.

Is it present or present? Is it polish or Polish? Sheldon's inability to clearly communicate through drawing was hilarious, especially since he's not that bad an artist. I'm not sure why Leonard didn't look at the girl's board to solve it. An odd set-up for the game, but it worked.

All the contests worked from Where's Waldo?, to dizzy long division, to wrestling, to the ending pie-eating contest with Sheldon getting a berry up his nose. Besides, Sheldon versus the flip chart, my favorite moment was when Penny pinned Sheldon to the ground and started kissing his face with Amy joining in.

Poor guy! Most men would love to have a gorgeous girl pin them down and kiss their face, but not Sheldon!

As bad as Sheldon must have felt continually being beat by the girls, Howard had it so much worse. He had the biggest accomplishment of his life and instead of a hero's welcome home, he got nothing.

Bernadette was sick, his mother was "occupied," and then his friends deserted him. Howard's best friend has a new bestie in Stuart. And, lastly, his friends yelled at him through their blueberry coated faces. At least he got some free cheesecake, right?

There were quite a few hilarious moments, check out some of them in our The Big Bang Theory quotes section.

Which game made you laugh the most?

How + wholesale t-shirts, based on leather bags and shoes or boots on the right track, kind and design can be a difficult procedure today. The mix is available is huge, wholesale mlb jersey and misled consumers would straight make a bad choice. As for the jerseys, the purchase of these sports stores or supermarkets, no doubt, pay large costs and would also have to buy what you can get instantly. This is the time to buy on the website is produced useful.

i am not warming up to stuart. he needs t stay at the comic book store

Epic!! Only thing I like now to happen is Raj and Howard getting back being BFFs and leave Stuart in Comic Book Store. Awesome Game Night and Love the kisses :D. Finally the A+ ep I was hoping for. Keep it up TBBT.

I agree that it was best episode of this season. Since the first year, I have had the crazy idea that in the end, Sheldon will be with Penny. There are Many, repeat, Many examples that might be foreshadowing this. Whenever either is in need, they seek or find each other; from: being sick to confronting bullies; to: their constant back and forth banter, which could be flirting and of course "soft kitty". They are the most "pure" characters, while All the others have boatloads of negative flaws. Penny did kiss Sheldon on the lips, maybe twice.

Absolutely loved this episode! To me,the funniest parts about Howard was him thinking at the airport that everybody was cheering for him, when it was really for Howie Mandel, and the whole thing with Bernie. But the stuff with the guys vs. girls game night? Comedy platinum, just like the reviewer said.

This was not only really funny (to me), but the funny stayed with me this morning getting ready for work, going to work, coming home -- no doubt looked like an idiot laughing out loud all by myself, but game night was great!

Awesome! So funny! We were also laughing out loud for most of the episode. I loved the wrestling/kissy face stuff. I just wondered how they talked Sheldon into wrestling in the first place, and why Penny & not Amy. I loved when Sheldon asked Amy for help, and instead of getting Penny off her man, she just joined in kissing him. I had to cringe at Howard & Bernadette's "reunion" becuase the same thing happened to me & my husband on our honeymoon. My allergies got so bad we had to go to the ER. Definitely NOT what my husband had planned.

“Comedic platinum ? I don't know which show you were watching last night but i thought it was boring and crap. How could i go from being an avid fan since the pilot, to basically not caring wether i watch it or not in the space of the last four episodes? The Big Bang Theory has lost it's “bang. I hope things improve soon but i am not holding my breath. Talk about lame!

my show is sooooo back love game night. wish stuart would of just stay the ower of the comic book store

The first couple of episodes, to me, were a let down. THANK GOODNESS This episode has brought back what Big Bang has been missing. I haven't laughed this loud since the beginning of the season. GOOD JOB writers!! Amy is less annoying in this episode. That's good. I don't like the addition of Stewert in the group. he's kind of boring and doesn't give much humour. Sheldon has changed though. It's not a major change so I think I'm alright with that. I like his uniqueness. And I hope that will stay throughout the series. Leonard has been pretty boring as of late, he should get a solid storyline. The writers should write something about curing Raj. It's time he falls in love with a girl and can actually talk to him.
